Reviewers should stop publishing car reviews until manufacturers reveal the prices. How can one conclude a product's capabilites if it's pricing isn't revealed. What if this is 25 lakh OTR. It could fail big time.

Most of the car reviewers do know the price when they are invited, not exact price but between range but they were told not to give the estimated price too. So basically they do review on the perspective and catagory that that is being placed by the company atleast unofficially so it's unfair to assume that reviewers just know the details that common people like us know about those cars.

They shouldn't price this vechile 25 lakshs OTR ...if they priced that much no one will go for it.. Reason:_ 1. No hybrid 2. No turbo 3. No engine option. 4. No transmission options like other competitors. 5. No best mileage compared to other competitors. 6. No premium sound system. 7. No adaptive guidelines for reverse parking 8. No power adjustable seats. 9. No Ventilated seats. 10. No sunglass holder. 11. No window curtains. If they price 25 lakhs, No one will buy best price is 10.5 lackhs - 15.5 lacs Exshowroom .. on road will come around 13-18.5 or 19lakhs Don't do more hype, and hike the price 😤..

The reviewer mentions that this car is meant for relaxed driving on highways but he has never mentioned once his opinion on how it will drive in city traffic which 90% of buyers will drive in ? He missed the users perspective completely.

People here like feature rich cars + Honda strengths. Ventilated seats is very much required in our hot and humid weather. Now a days buyer also checks Global NCAP Safety rating.

1.5 TSI might demolish the 1.5 i-Vtec. But, Taigun/Kushaq 1.0 TSI vs Elevate 1.5 i-Vtec manual?? The ivtec is actually brisk in the city without turbo lag and pretty impressive drivability (low end grunt) than than the 1.0 TSI in Taigun/Kushaq. The NA can't match the explosive midrange torque rush as the Turbos. But, 1.5 ivtec should be faster by second or at least a half in 0-100 kmph when pitted against Kushaq/Taigun. That was the case with City 1.5 i-Vtec Manual Vs 1.0 TSI Kushaq/Taigun.

@@motoroids Yes yes, VW's are great for demo and if the owner doesn't wish the car to keep it over 75000 KM on the odo, it's worth taking the risk for it's excellent chassis and high speed handling. One of our family members bought a new Slavia 1.0 MT, it was delivered without balancing the front wheels. The steering would vibrate constantly while cruising at 90 kmph. Of course, wheel balancing is a small issue to solve and had been solved promptly. Within a year, power window feature doesn't work as it should. One has to fiddle with the switch to close the window all the way up. Awaiting parts to replace under warranty for more than a month and I wouldn't definitely call that it's built great. Fortunately, there's another Taigun 1.0 MT which my BIL bought didn't come with any issues so far. But, just under a year old. The VW/Skoda parts are indeed expensive and they don't last as Japanese parts do. VW/Skodas are definitely the best cars to drive. To maintain, it is definitely not. Honda is in the middle usually, not too floaty as a Hyundai/Suzuki nor too firm as VW/Skoda and can live for a decade with 2+ lakh km on the odo by just doing regular maintenance and changing the essentials like tyres, brake pads, rotors and wiper blades and that's pretty much it. Replacing the clutch package on VW/Skoda should cost around 75,000. I remember my uncle once changed for his Rapid 1.6 TDi back then. I just paid 25,000 for my Jazz i-Dtec 2016 at 1,25,000 Km on the odo because the clutch was too tight to press. So, for even Elevate it shouldn't cost as much as the Rapid.

Absolutely. A NA engine had better driveability than a small turbo engine. Especially when mated a manual transmission with well chosen gear ratios.

Overall a good city car when simply put, especially with the CVT MT may be for those seeking that little bit of fun over CVT. FE too has taken a beating. Either way no USP except that its plain, safe and reliable with less complex power trains, with good ride and handling with the GC. Had It got a hybrid it would have served both worlds.

Loved this neatly explained video..will this cvt will be noisy over 100 kmph if i drive lightfoot..my driving will be 60% city and 40 % highway..which one will you prefer for city - mumbai..mileage is also concern.

With a light foot it is a relaxed drive. The car does not like to be pushed. However, if you build the revs gradually, you'll barely hear the engine growl even at triple digit speeds.

@@motoroidsYou are smartly saying that with that limited engine torque and power at high rpm it would be practically impossible for practical highway driving as a family car. For the city drives barely exceeding 70 kmph it fits well, better driving, no power concerns and no cabin noise

Manual clutch travel is more or just perfect, well which version has the best feel for city drive mt or cvt.

CVT only city. MT both city and highway with some inconveniences. Choice depends on your liking. I personally like MT but traffic reminds me of automatic.

nexon facelift or this ? which would be more value for money ? I dropped creta/seltos facelift coz of build quality. I would like the cabin to feel airy, good build quality, and I'm a new driver so not so sure if driving enthusiasts bit applies for me.
