I can not believe they made 200W more power and yet reduced the noise and size of the eu22 compared to the eu20. And the eu22 is better good-looking and more rugged.
honda stands by their words. i have put a 2000W draw (Makita Grinder) on an eu20i (rated 1600W) and it worked fine everyday we used it. I also put a portable welder on it, no problem. Sold it as new to a friend who couldn't believe his eyes at such outputs. Now I have got an eu22 so I don't push it too much beyond the 2200W max (I still do, but not alot)
