I've just had a 6 day outage at my home. I've made do with an EU20I. It's plugged directly into my power board on the house. It's reliable but struggles to run the basics. I have the electrician put a 32 input into the power board so i couldrun a decent sized generator with no new mods needed. After tons of research and thought I'll be buying this generator with a 32 amp output so it canput It's total input into running the house. This will run everything and give me hot water (that ran out with the outage and because I had only a 2kva Honda I was unable to re heat it). I'll use the big Honda during the day and use a Bluetti battery bank at night to keep the fridge etc going. That's the best solution for me. I jus saw a RU-vid clip with the exact sam generator with 8000 hours on it. That's impressive. Thanks for your video, I appreciate it.
Many thanksxfor the feedback, I have learnt more from your tutorial than talking with the various agents experts, basically expeiencing generator over load, planning to get one, many thanks for your guidance, KPP nz
Cheers for the video... I got a coffee trailer and been looking for an Inverter Generator. When you showed your coffee van I thought ""BONUS!" Fab Video.
Please watch this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-I1jT3ANENvI.html be sure to comment on this video too. Hope someone watches it.
They are the best generator on the market. Keep the oil changed regularly and it will be a great business partner for you. Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
We like that u were really careful not2 scratch her or waste fuel on her. U treat that fine, expensive machine respectfully &w/care. We’re waiting 4our new unit now. It’s the newest version w/the CO Minder, 4th i-display function& Bluetooth remote application. (2021 HONDA EU7000isnag) She’s pricey@ $5600 so I will b as careful w/mine as u r w/yours. I enjoyed your video, your seriousness &care 4your unit. My son &i plan on a similar unbox, set up, 1st run video.
Please put a link in when you do would love to see it, this beautiful unit is nearing 1800 hours flawless running, worth every penny, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Just about to buy the same generator. That funnel is fantastic, I need to find one of those, I’m sick of having to clean my funnel’s every time before I can use them!
Can see that looking very attractive to the light fingered brigade. You need to sort some sort of way of chaining it to the van when your on site. Also when your on the road, you will need some way of locking the generator in place, perhaps a floor fixing. It's a weighty unit and you don't want that moving around or flying forwards if you have to brake harshly. Smashing piece of kit though.
I have fitted a shackle point underneath the van and we padlock the two together on site so hopefully it won’t get pinched we don’t have to worry too much about it flying forward when the brakes are applied as they are so bad the van barely stops 😂 only joking you are spot on Dave Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Lovely piece of kit mate, I’m sure you probably know this, there’s a ‘power triangle’ app that can add up Watts-Volts-Amps that will help you stay in the parameters of the Jenny’s capability.
The "I" display on the front of the machine shows how many va are being pulled, the power triangle app would be great to check before plugging in, Thanks Michael for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Great video. Very clear and concise. I am planning to get the same genset. Since you have this genset, can you confirm the depth of this Genset without the wheel? Since our door gap is only 24inches, we just want to check if this can be brought inside without the wheels.
Looking Good. Great investment can’t go wrong with a Honda. I was in a Honda dealership awhile back. He showed me the warranty shelf of faulty parts for the year. 3 components one was an alternator. I’m planning a horse box coffee trailer I’m looking at a dual fuel coffee machine. Did you check it out. Great video. Regards from Ireland
we found the running costs of the duel fuel to be more expensive as we also use batteries and inverters to power the coffee machine, the honda is a fantastic generator and has now done 1200 hours with no issues, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
A little slip of the tongue 😛 Just to confuse things the generator shows volt amps as a reading rather than watts or amps but as you say it’s basically watts 👍🏻🛠Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Great bit of kit ☺️ think I'd upgrade to use the 32amp socket on from the machine at the 5400va load machine showed your pulling around 23amp obviously not constant load as thing get up to temp and cut in out but over time could cause thermal damage to the 16amp plugs and sockets and supply cables ?
I am using the EU70IS in India and we hit lows of 5 Degrees Celsius and highs of 48 - 49 Degree Celsius. I am using 5W40 Shell Helix Ultra Fully Synthetic. Is this Grade of Oil okay for health of the engine from a longevity point of View. Have done only 80 Hours in past 7 months.
Hi, Thank you for the video it was very knowledgeable I am trying to look for same model with 1×32 and 2×16Amp sockets but not exact socket generator is available on market, can you please share any website link where I can find same model with exact sockets you have In your model. Thanks
The Hondas are in short supply so I bought. One of these Senci SC8000i 7KW Silenced Generator vs Honda EU70IS, A Full Review & Comparison £1600 vs £4000. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qHewDrmFU2c.html Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
Looks like the business. Do you mind me asking how much a full tank of fuel costs and approximately how many hours a full tank lasts with everything in your can running?
Have you guys ever had to replace the controller? In Australia, this genset is almost a throw-away item when the controller is faulty. It is hard to find parts it can take up to 6 months to get it. Any advice?
Or VA Volt amps is what the unit displays. Actual power in watts depends on power factor. Resistive load has a unity PF ie 1 so one volt and one amp would be one watt. 0.8 power factor 0.8 of a watt.
@@aaanton11 that's spot on that price that will give many years service doing what your sons does it's got to be reliable and not a cheap one from machine mart lol
Ramp is all finished and looks great there is a small clip of it at the end of the video, I have another video coming of the making of the ramp,Thanks Peter for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
@@aaanton11 yeah should of waited to comment lol it will certainly build muscle growth pulling that in the van, and stopping it running away with you getting it out. I look forward to watching the next video. Thanks
@@aaanton11 Seen the generator fitted in the van & used with optional exhaust/vent system.BUT do use inconjunction with a carbon monoxide alarm. www.geargb.co.uk/product/2055-HOND-EU70/Honda_EU65is__EU70is_Exhaust_Vent_System
Point taken, but Honda provide the power, engines for most top branded tools ie wackers, pumps, mowers, strimmers, mixers, you see my point, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠
