Should be over here on the other side of the island, Warro; we've had no rain since October! The sprocket change seems to have done the trick very effectively. 👍
i think so -sprocket change was a worthwhile mod and it can now hold 100 kph with no real issues. in fact i think tomorrow i will call the bike shop and see what sort of mud/dirt tyres he can score for me. sorry to hear about your rain or lack of it. not the case here. probably dropped 6" in my area over the 3 days and fair bit of local flooding too.
You want to come to the West of England. We have had about 20 days in total, since October when it HASN`T rained. The wettest winter ever and we are all fed up with it.
@@davericketts9101 Understandable that you're upset about it, Dave. I would be too, that's why I'm not coming there. It's nicer in the sunshine; 29C again today, not bad for autumn. 🏖
@@chrisweeks6973 Sorry Chris, only just seen this reply. Don't blame you, that sounds like heaven right now. Windy and wet this morning but we are due a better week ahead, thank God
yeah its finally arrived and getting a bit cold and wet too. think the area had roughly 6" rain over past 3 days. wet muddy tracks for sure but ok on this bike today..well on the sealed side...lol
G'day Warro, good too see you out after rain, we have not had very much of the wet stuff, have a few rides coming up this weekend myself, keep safe, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.
plenty of water about here. actually hope it dries up a bit as id say the dirt tracks about here would not be kind to a lone rider. nights are getting cold too. was a nice little run out today on the gb350. axtually starting to enjoy the ride experience
it actually runs to 100 kph very easy and it might not look it but i was running in small hill country. back on level ground very easy 100 cruise speed
If I owned one, that eco idiot light would have to go. I can tolerate the one on the Meteor because it is a LCD and doesn't glare at night. But trying to ride in the dark with that light flashing on and off would drive me nuts. 😎
The little Honda certainly performs alright! The front sprocket change has certainly made a difference. I can’t get over the fact that there is only 1 green indicator light flashing on the dash & I thought you were turning right but you turned left 🤔 Cheers!
yeah at first that light fooled me too but its actually an economy light so as soomn as i back off the throttle or use very little on a cruise on it comes....lol bike does run well. im thinking i might even add off road tyres on it and try it out on the dirt roads.
@@stevesanelli90 yeah i know ...i might take both out...lol just waiting now for the Sx;s sump guard. it has just arrived in aust according to the tracking. either way country very muddy in this area so a few good days would be nice to help dry it out a bit. fair bit of local flooding too. even my bird aviary took it but not too well.
Perfect road for the little GB. Noticed the economy light comes on sometimes. I’ve done nearly 5000kms on mine and never seen that light come on ever. Makes me wonder if it can be disabled.
yeah i first thought i had a faulty indicator but not the case...lol ive now clocked 1100 klm on it and its running pretty good. i have a few dirt road plans for it now
yeah i dont think id be keen on that side. i believe tasmania is wet quite a bit and extremely windy too. i recall twice going up the west aust coast in a car and each time i got out hit by terrible head winds. another place i wouldnt live. overall where i am its pretty good weather wise and if i want hotter climate its about a 30 mile ride
Hi mate. That Honda seems a bit more lively than before. Do you think it could sustain 110kmh for the motorway riding? The reason I'm asking is that my daily commute is 50% motorway riding. Cheers
say most of it was flat running -if so i had absolutely no trouble bumping it up to 110 kph and 100 kph is dead easy. plus im now running that 13t front and that alone has livened it up and you can see in clip not much effort to get to 90 kph in 3rd
I watched someone on the Tube replace the chain with the belt and different sprockets. Did not realize it could be done or why it was changed over. Enfield I believe.
@@edwardkaminsky8142 yeah i recall that now. i was thinking of doing that on an enfield 500 to possible curb the vibration a bit. in the end i went 350 "J" platform and issue solved
