The GL looks amazing in its raw situation, of course once finished it will be something else. Yippee the online order was spot on, those little victories help. Keep up the hard work, stay blessed and safe, your friend Traveller MIA 🇬🇧
Thanks so much - more to come on the bike for sure. This weekend I should actually have some time to get some things cooking, stay tuned - by Wednesday I should have another episode to watch
At the bottom of the cable, you have one nut below the mounting, one above. They should both be above. Bottom nut is the adjuster, top nut (in contact with it) locks the adjustment.
I installed the same clutch cable on my '82 GL500 and it currently rolls on engine power even when the clutch lever is pulled in. I'll adjust using the techniques you've shown. Thanks!
Thanks for watching - I hope this helped. I do have mine near the limit on both ends which isnt ideal, but I can spin the rear tire while in gear and on the center stand, no doubt I should be able to hold it still when running and on the ground.
Haha, thats an interesting comment - not sure if that means that are left handed or if you are left brained and everything is loose and cool. Lets going with loose and cool ;)
I didn't have to replace mine. I'm sure that you local Honda dealer would know, it may even be in the service manual. If you don't have one, check online I'm sure there is a free pdf download available somewhere. Thanks for watching, Mike
