Thanks man I’ve been looking for a video like this. It was perfect for my engine because I have a fully customized golf cart/dune buggy didn’t know what to do so I came on here and looked and sure enough there you were you save me and my go kart/dune buggy All the credit and learning, how to take apart and clean a carburetor goes to you. Thank you very much for this video! My pressure cleaner was turning OFF every time I would switch turn the choke off. I followed your steps and viola works as good as new. I did recondition my yellow gas with some fuel stabilizer and it worked fine. My gasket did tear, so I ran to the closest auto part store and purchased gasket paper for fuel and oil, then traced and cut one just like it, worked great, no leaks.

Hey man , thank you for your help , my pressure washer was running at about 25% power and shut down , I was messing with the governor for a bit but turn out carb cleaning did the trick !

You were a God send! Picked up that exact model at a yard sale. It had sat for 12 years with gas in it. After cleaning the carb, I could tell there was no way it would have worked otherwise. Thanks!

Why would it run briefly (2 sec) and quit?

@@markbarnard1399 check oil. Even a little low and sensor goes off. Sensor is single yellow wire. Unplugging it disables it. But id try changing oil. 3/4 a quart.

New stuff to me. More a diesel person. I hope what I'm sayin makes sense.. My original Carby has two controlling arms (on a ride on mower) I'm replacing it with same Carby you have but I've been given a choke lever as well(I don't need it) but I do need the hole to line up on the opposite side to fit the control arm on to it. This has a cap on it. The throttle assembly is all the same to put back together. Should I have just replace the float or something and not even bother with the new one? *Drain pipe was p***ing out fuel and only way to stop it was turn the fuel line off 🤷 How to send you photos of both?

Dude....you are the man!!!!! Now....got a question about a Stihl "power head" (engine for different attachments)....I cant get the carb adjusted correctly to work with different tools. For example, if I adj it for a string trimmer attachment, it sounds and performs horrible for the edger attachment. Does this make any sense....sorry if I am not explaining it right

Yes so the edger requires more power. So you have to enrichen it sometimes. May need a new carb

i used to but i just dont have time to wait for it to be clean so i use acid on 4 stroke carbs and 2 stroke are so cheap i just buy new.

Is this pressure washer supposed to have a rubber gasket between the air box housing and the air filter platform? I noticed mine doesn't (and neither does this one in the video) but I wasn't sure if people just lose them?

Yes a round one i think. Goes under airfilter. In that gap.

Great vid, nice tin pants! ; ) Odd thing, the black plastic secondary on my carb doesn't have a brass insert, and there is no hole that ges all the way through. It's a gx340, maybe that's correct?

Great video can you help with my carb? Bought a new side x side 5 years ago. Honda go 390. Every year in April or early May the crankcase and cylinder fill with fuel. First 3 years Honda dealer gave me a new carb. Note this carb has a plastic needle and seat. Any ideas?

Your carb goes bad from sitting with fuel in it. Ethanol fuel goes bad in 3 weeks. Use non ethanol. Its called rec90 at most pumps that have it. Or drain fuel and carb everytime your going to store it

@@smallengineguys Thank you that's what most tell me. However it has a small bed and I use it weekly to haul firewood to the house. I suspect you are correct though. I don't believe all Honda carbs have plastic needles and seat. I guess the ethanol is too hard on it. Thanks again

this might be a bit strong for car washes but if thats what you have make sure you use a big tip so you dont damage the paint.

im doing the gx340 11hp new carb as im hooking it back up i put the throttle rod on the carb then i attach the small spring wire when i move the throttle arm nothing move if i take it off it it moves freely ??? im stuck
