Honda engines are known for its refinement. RE is known for its Road Presense. One will have to decide whether they want performance then go for Honda or if they want pride (gethu in tamil) go for RE.

Royal Enfield doesn't always have good resale value I sold my thunderbird 2003 model in good condition for around 40k 2 years back. Seams that classic have great resale. But not thunderbird

Re engine best. Honda engine waste. Enakku Honda unicorn bike la oru bad experience in 2012 when i bought new unicorn engine seized in three months. Company not supported me for any warranty. So i personally spent 7500 rs to restore the engine. After that also no satisfaction. Exchanged the bike for new Bajaj Avenger. Avenger also rocks. Now i have two bikes one my newly purchased Avenger on 2013 and an old second hand 500cc thunderbird both rocks.

Nice comparison. But cb is also a legend. 1970 cb featured many technology, only drawback is big wing dealership. Enfield needs to change or else 👎.. Adding new feature nay help them to withstand in market. Cb series is a legend outside india.. Let us see what is the outcome of this competition
Really useful info. I was think of buying RE350 classic but later realized they are really outdated with technology. Few days back I heard Honda is going to launch this bike. RE vida HONDA தான் best. RE கெத்து தான். But Engine refined na HONDA தான்.. Example.. இந்த bike la mileage 45 வர இருக்கும் .. BUT RE la 35 தான் millage கிடைக்கும். HONDA Hness 350 la TOP SPEED 140-150 வர போகும், ஆனா RE CLASSIC 350 la 125 ah தாண்டது 😂.. இது போக RE la VIBRATION பயங்கரமா இருக்கும்.. HONDA IS ALWAYS BEST..♥️

First service cost is approx 1500₹. First 3 free service has no labour cost. After 3 free service then it's paid service. Paid service is approx 2300₹. Engine oil capacity 2 litres ( Honda uses 10w30 grade fully synthetic oil from idemitesu Japan brand). Very less maintenance cost but serviced at big wing super knowledge & trained technicians. So it's 1000% advantage and superior benefit than substandard RE service and quality..

I reside in a coastal village in Karnataka, 500 km away from the nearest seller / service centre! I discovered this when I was trying to book it online. Obviously I am disappointed. Honda must sell and service it from all the outlets. I used an Activa for 12 years, and sold it about 8 years ago, and not using any two wheelers since then. Now I want to go back to a two wheeler, and Honda was my first choice, but I can't buy it if I have to travel 500 km for servicing...

Honda big wing is not there in Chennai. The service network is pathetic for highness. Though the package looks enticing, to catch up with RE they got to be more assertive in reachability
Royal Enfield UCE engine vechu 15 yrs ah oora emathitruken....vandila ega pata vibration....just now they realised the market...they started developing engines of SOHC.... Honda CB series has huge fan base all over the world...they hve bullet proof reliability... Honda has pretty big marketing team than royal Enfield....they ll analyse the demand for the bike in india....later shift the bike to normal showroom....
