I'll be watching! :) That seat with the leather seams, does it come OEM, or is it aftermarket? I love the way it looks, with the ingraved "Hornet" logo on it.
Absolutely love the bike!..even though it is gone, I assume from the "Sold :(" I saw where you replied to someone already but.. All you did was cut the original fender off some but left the key entry? Or cut it off some and relocated the key entry? I'm looking to clean my 06 599 up a lot but this seems to be the most difficult area to clean up just because of that key entry. Any other suggestions or advice? Because I really like your setup better than any, hands down.
yes, the rear fender is the original cut off. changing the lock is really easy. you can pull it out to make a new hole where I can and put it on again. the rest of the motor is original. only mirrors and turn signal changed 👍
miroxen123 Alright, awesome! I may actually venture that route and see what I can make happen. In hopes it looks as good as what you were able to do. And I gotcha. I’m not looking to do a ton but swapping out my exhaust is definitely on the list haha
what exhaust did you have on it? and howd you go about eliminating the hideous stock rear fender? this has to be the cleanest hornet ive seen good shit
@@miroxen123 I wanted to paint mine but I find myself stuck with the arm that holds the rear wheel. did you take it apart to paint it? Otherwise nice job!
