I am 99% sure that this is my old bike. I bought it new in 1985. I only kept it for 2 years though. I applaud those that kept it so nice!

I just decided to get my first motorcycle, rode dirt bikes my whole life, my dad and uncle has this bike when I was about 8 years old and I remember they raving about how awesome it was! I want this to be my first bike!

Beautiful bike!!! Never been a fan of a back seat. I'd definitely replace with a single low profile seat.

Wow that’s a bike that was well loved for sure!!! Amazing amount of TLC needs to be done to keep a bike that clean. The Magna is a little small for me but considering I have nothing to ride, beggars can’t be choosers. Ha ha’ Thanks for the video guys. As usual their honest and informative. I got this bike for a $100 with paperwork and keys old man was in his 80+ couldn't ride anymore sold it for what I can pull out and a story and wanted it to go to someone who appreciated it. 🙂

First time seeing this. I had an 86 and it also had the dents in the tank at the exact same place…. Wonder what causes those

Probably not the original handlebars. Those are 'mini apes' I dropped mine once and it made the same dent.

Usually a dent in the tank at that area means the triple tree broke past the stop and hit the tank. Repaint with stickers and clear coat???? Check the neck to see if the stop has been broken past by the triple tree... Just something to look at, not accusing anything.

Jrtuck, your wife's must be a V-65 or 1100cc Magna. I think this one is a V-45 or 700cc Magna (Reagan era?).

jrtruck, I like those v-4 bikes. I had a Vmax 1200 with the v-4. I would like to someday own a V-65 Magna! Good observation on that 700 Magna detail!!!!

in 2 minutes of video you forgot to mention one of the most important things: the displacement!! Because of HONDA Magna, 1982-1987 (V45) there are 2 displacement models: 750cc and 700cc! The 700cc in the USA for tax reasons, the 750cc: the rest of the world. The 700cc are also called V42. While the 750cc the V45. what displacement does it have? and year of registration? 1985? Safe?

Actually, in 1985, Honda reduced it to the V42 700cc to avoid the tax on bikes over 700cc. I only know this cause I myself did a ton of research and bought an 85 Magna myself.
