I was in a kei car phase a few months back where I watch japanese videos of kei cars and I actually prefer the Daihatsu tanto because of the suicide sliding door. For some reason it feels practical because of how easy it is to access the car for occasional cargo run.

i checked out the N-Box at this very place too! it's such a lovely little car. btw you mentioned the Yaris being the current No.1 car in japan, bear in mind the Yaris in Japan is a totally different car to the Yaris sold in Malaysia which is basically a vios with a rear hatch

japanese N-Box comes with extra features.. such as a tray for the rear seats. And the wee hook you touched at the window sil, its actually a shader, pull it up and it blocks sun light, etc.

the moment Beng jump into the car seem like she get into volvo truck...so huge from that angle...and when she pull out sun visor...i'm dead...LOL

The rear seats on all N-Box 2nd Gen can slide forward, the lever that you touched was actually use in sliding the rear seat forward and backward. Not for pulling the seat up. Still, thank you for the review. I will buy my N-Box next month and will review the N-Box EX Custom Turbo 2nd Gen.

With the current gas prices and still wanting to pass the $6.00 or $7.00 dollar marker in some areas, these little van makes perfect sense for America. All that Honda is got to do for the US market is to increase the displacement to a 1.0 Liter and with the turbo, it probably will go past the 100 HP which I am guessing is highway worthy. That would be perfectly adequate for a small family. I don't know about the crash testing, but I am sure Japan also has very strict regulations in that respect

I love the lady's enthusiasm I'm English her accent when she gets excited sounds oriental then Indian but have enjoyed her video, Kei cars we can import them at any age, we use to get brand new English specification Suzuki cappuccino and Daihatsu coppone they sold reasonably well I'm surprised not more Kei cars were sold brand new in the UK.

I own a Pakistani assembled alto 660cc the only 660cc assembled out of japan 8th gen it doesn't have heated seats or parking sensors but it has amazing feul economy as it is AGS transmission which is different from cvt Ags gives aprox 24liter in one kilo meeter

I am amazed how much room it has. It's bigger in some areas than cars double its weight. I really don't understand why the Japanese automakers don't put as much storage space in other cars.

I'm still kicking myself for buying a Honda BRV. Too many quality and design issues. Even after telling Honda Malaysia, they're still selling it in 2022 (check the manufacturing year plate at the door frame, it should state 2019).

Malaysia is a flood prone country with port holes and speed bumps… not sure about practicality… probably might hold up traffic on the way up to Genting Highland or Cameron Highlands… very easy to slide in a coffin… or a ride for pimps… that button is call side power door button…

Instead of using turbo it should be made hybrid. Turbo will accelerate engine wear and tear faster.
