Well I'm humbled to say the least, meeting TOM a subscriber to my channel who has just purchased the Honda NC750x DCT see how we get on in the land of 20mph
What a beautiful ride. Living across the pond in a northern, Midwest prairie state, where in but a few places, the roads are mostly ruler straight, I’m certain I and my NC would be in heaven on those roads. Again, I appreciate the absence of music. For me, listening to the engine/exhaust just adds to the enjoyment of the ride and the degree to which my vicarious journey is experienced. It’s music to my ears. Thanks for another great ride.
Just did my theory test and passed. CBT on 1st December '23 followed by DAS. I'm in a rush now as I'm in my 70th year. As soon as I pass its either an NC750X or an Africa Twin. Who wants to sit in the house watching television..... On my bucket list is a cup of tea at Nordkapp (Northcape) and a quick spin down to Rome. Not forgetting getting the lift up Blackpool Tower. lol.... I really enjoyed your ride with Tom in this video. Large disparity in mpg between the two of you. Did Tom let DCT take care of everything?
Northcape is amazing. If it's on your route, check out trollstigen, geiranger fjord, gaularfjellet and sognefjellet. Truthfully the whole country is magical. My top 4 anyway 🙂
All I can say is its a good job we were both on full Knobbies??? If only you could see how steep and rocky that hill really was. what a fantastic day it just kept on giving. Cheers look forward to the next but how could you compete. We need more NC's
@birchwoodbiker I'm getting close to retirement and want a bike I can ride well into my 70,so... so light and a short seat height are high on the list. Thanks for the reply
Hi, thx for sharing your experience! Tell me, what button is below the horn on your DCT? Your thumb is always on it ready to use. In Canada, it's the blinker. Thx for your time. JP, 2017 NC750x DCT
@@birchwoodbiker ok same here. You use the down shift paddle that often? I’m no road warrior here, just trying to improve my riding habilities. Thx again.
Hiya, Thank you for the video which really was excellent, Thats route couldn't have been better if you planned it , are you sure it wasn't a plan ! Seriously though it's sometimes amazing what and where just following your nose gets you. What a lovely day well done.
The NC ought to be the perfect RU-vidr's bike given the economy, low center of gravity, frunk and wind protection. Maybe document an Ironbutt Rally or something!
Really like the look of the NC - booked myself a test ride. Currently on a Harley 48 and me spine can't take it anymore haha. Only down the road in Altrincham so I'll shout you if I get one. Thanks for the great vids!
Brilliant video and lovely roads, we been down the same roads once from ponderosa, just turn the mic off the side camera as the engine whistle goes through use otherwise top job pal
