The NSX didn't need any improvement. The first year was the most perfect car for performance and reliability. An everyday supercar. Ferraris and Lamborghini's might be faster but need more frequent maintenance. Any enhancement to the NSX over the years was either a minor refinement increase from 3.0 to 3.2 liter displacement and modest performance increases or just cosmetic (exposed headlamps). That wasn't enough for "performance junkies" though, who would add "kits" to gain speed and style but just detract from character.
