Have a couple questions, what’s the point of the ARM guards? Is it to keep the rubber boots and stuff protected from sticks poking and hitting them? And do you need to have a second battery for all your accessories? I’ve heard with the 1000 that if the voltage gets low from all the accessories it can jack up the transmission. Didn’t know if that was the case on the 700 or not or if one battery works just fine and there’s no problem with transmission. Thanks
Well good questions , never heard of a trans issue ? Must have electric switches in trans that controls all the different trans modes on 1000 , and we do not have all those modes on the 700 . So I’m gonna guess and say no . Also it matters how much accessories you have for extra battery . I’d buy a battery jumper , that can jump start your machine . Bunch on Amazon . Should have one anyways. And just add what you want . The first time U need to jump start it cuz of dead battery from accessories, then add a battery . And the arm guards , just guards for arms and also act like rock sliders when going over rocks so you don’t get hung up . Hope that helps
Don’t know about the UTV but my 2016 Sierra started running and shifting strangely. Dealer determined it was a low battery (not dead, just low). Replaced battery and all was good. They recommended battery change every 5-6 years.
Hello, have you had any back brake noise on your 700. My bike only has about 60 hrs and when I am cruising slowly and hit the brakes pretty hard to stop, it makes a grinding / squal kinda noise. It didn't do this when it was brand new. I seen alot online about this being normal. But I can't believe this. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Ok not sure what noise ? Yes the rear diff does like to make ALOT of noise and I’ve had brake noise also. .but when ever I do have brake noise which is different than the diff noise , I check my pads and look for rocks that might be up in there . So honestly I check my pads every trip on the machine. . Stopping is very Important and it’s so open and easy to see . But yes the rear diff also makes a lot of chatter on stopping and slowing down and turning
@@ArizonaKid not sure if youve smashed the brakes very hard going down a steep hill, but that is when they grind the worst. There is videos under honda pioneer 700 rear brake noise on RU-vid. That is what mine sounded like. Dealer did nothing but say that is normal. I fixed them by putting Youme brand ceramic rear brake pads from amazon. on. I didn't change the stock fronts. I've road about 30 hours and the ceramics fixed the brake grinding noise. Even though it's been very dusty these new pads are quiet. Thanks again

The normal word ?? Not sure I know what’s normal , has my exhaust turned red , ya if ridding hard , I’ve had my Honda foreman turn so hot burned hole in my gloves when I touched . If it’s normal ?? I don’t know
Az state law do not need turn signals , can use hand signals , utv and ATV vehicles are not permitted full time street vehicles so part time hand signals are ok and allowed . But if u would like to put turn signals on go right ahead .
Wanna add more cuz I’ve talked to many law enforcement and dmv and Az game and fish and forest service rangers about this. . Very hard to understand laws , any horizontal forest or street sign u need street legal sticker , now there are two , part time and full time sticker . Here is where it gets crazy and confusing part time u aren’t allowed miles of travel , just part time mile or two and or crossing horizontal sign roads ?? Now to full time street legal , dirt roads and forest service roads unlimited but if u are in city limits the full time street legal can fall back into part time with out dot tires ?? Confused yet ?? And some cities don’t care if have full time sticker or part time or dot tires , they consider utv and ATV vehicles not allowed full time street . Crazy right ?? But yes I can ask anyone and NO WHERE IN AZ Laws say ATV or UTV need turn signals to be street legal lol 😂 but the books say u need license plate light 😆 gotta love whoever made the laws . @@danielspencer5023 I left another long message , but ya we have to have windshield or glasses on when driving and mirrors , but just need one and reflectors / brake lights at least one . But don’t need turn signals , but we have to have license plate light . But the laws are mainly for dirt road travel , they still do not want ATV or utv in town travel . Can’t go down town Phoenix and be driving your utv to work everyday. Trust me I’ve asked everyone about this topic. . And every state is different. Yep good news is if u come to visit us in Az , the law is forgiving and all u need is a license plate and u can ride with no az papers for like a month lol 😂
