You have to take transmission apart to change the filter, major work

Thanks. Your initial comment about loosening the fill bolt FIRST was absolutely correct. I drained my tranny fluid and then discovered I couldn't break loose the fill bolt. Had to replace the fluid using that skinny dipstick tube...not fun! You didn't mention that a single drain 'n fill is insufficient. It requires doing it 3 times with some driving in between drain and fills. I completed my fluid change over the course of several days. I used a drain container with volume marks so I knew I was replacing volume for volume, and of course, after the 3 D and F's checked the level

6 point is important and I just lucked out tha'ts all I had!. When it finally cracked loose using a huge breaker bar for 1/2 sockets, for a second I thought I broke something.

Top bolt is 17mm and mine was way to tight to, had to use a cheater bar

do I need to put the plug back on before testing or will it compress out?

Do you check in neutral or park?

Good video, but it'll be good to show HOW you doit, next time make your wife hold the camera for you while you do it. But overall, good tips 👍
