I was living/working back in 1965-8 in London, and went twice to the IoM TT races- '66 and the Diamond '67 [75 years ] Saw Mike Hailwood race the fantastic Hondas there, and at many other race tracks around the UK! Although it was over half a century ago, I still get the hair on my neck rise when I hear that screaming Honda on full song!! Superb!! Mind you, the Yamaha V-4 two-strokes also sounded amazing.. Bill Ivy and Phil Read aboard.. Those were great times for a young bike fan.. [Im 80 now!] I have the 1967 IoM TT races on two LP records and also transcribed onto CD's. Still play them at high sound-levels to enjoy that howl!
also sounds great! Saw and heard a CBX at Phillip Island races a few years back; The bike had 6 stainless megaphone exhausts! It also sounded fantastic.. @@phbravo
