Thanks, the acceleration isn't stellar, but its got enough punch to get you around some traffic. I'm 185lbs and I'm able to hit 75-80mph pretty easy once I get on the freeway.
You'll be looking for a rear fender as soon as you see what the back of your jacket looks like when you are done riding. Or maybe you'll feel the dirt hit you in the back of your head!! It can get painful at times.
Pretty sure I didn't change them. But its been a long time man. The throttle cable is easy tho so if you need to change it no big deal. Clutch cable is a pain tho.
Hey bud, I'm looking at one of these, from 1992. Its original with only 2 owners, what is the acceleration like? I know it only does say 110mph so I hope it has some grunt. Great bike, really really like it. Cheers, Alex
Thanks for the response I sat on one and it felt good but my legs were cramped. I am 6ft but I know guys taller who ride 600. I was told peg extensions should help. Any thoughts
luv ur bike !! im looking to pick up the same handlebars from licks cycles are they 1'' or 7/8 z bars can u tell me the width tip to tip ??also how wasthe install pain in the ass?thks
I noticed the cover plate under your seat. Looked at blue collar bobbers, didnt see anything of the sort. Just woundering if you had to make it, or maybe where you got it?
Guess I got shorter legs, haha, peg extensions would work, but I've always felt they looked a bit off. How about a Honda VT750? My buddy has one and its noticeable larger for only being 150cc more.
Thanks! I thought it was incredibly well made. easy to install and had no problems with it. I mean it was a bit pricey but if you factored in how much it would've cost to get someone to custom fab a hard tail for you, its a drop in the bucket.
@atompkins99 Hit up TJBC - TJ Brutal Customs in Huntington Beach, he does awesome custom shadow bobbers and has parts and such for them. He's on instagram alot so you can see his work there.
