Could you run a lead from the rear USB connector to the mount or use one of the connectors under the dash?

Bizarre! Dash charge point comes as an option. Again bizarre! Noticed a few after market ones as well.

It would be such a cheap item to add to the bike. I added one. Let's face it the working loom is there, the location is already there, most of the job is done.

Come standard in Canada.😁 On, in the left side panel below the TFT screen. I am thinking of mounting an after market one on the right side below the TFT screen.

@@HardPackedADV The loom isn't there. At least on the North American TA, if you have the factory 12v accessory socket installed, there's an additional cable you have to buy. The Honda website won't let you select the 12v socket option w/o adding that "accessory socket harness". "PART #: 08E70-MLC-A00"
