the left lever on the trx250x is the 'sport' clutch. but there's also a little pin you can push down to act as a parking brake, probably similar to the recon.
Yo bro , have a question . Looking to buy my son the new 2024 raptor 110 efi. But I want a quad for my self , brand new not use my only options is this one or the Yamaha 700 raptor but I want to use it a bit and my wife we both weight 170 pounds around 5”9 you think this quad will make it like pismo sand or small trails with us? Next year I am buying the 700 raptor but just want something my wife and me can ride meanwhile with my son . Thanks
I wouldn’t ride it with a passenger if that’s what you mean. I’d go for something larger, engine and length wise, if you want to ride doubled up. It’s got plenty of power for an adult to have some fun though. I’m 6’0”, around 210lbs, and it’s plenty for the trails and hills where I live in Kentucky. It seems like no one makes sport quads in the 250 to 300 cc range anymore like the ones I grew up with. My cousin has a Suzuki LT230S from the 80s and it rips. I love these smaller bikes because they’re so much more nimble and easier to handle.
Makes sense. For the price, I don’t think you’d regret the 250X. My wife, son, and I take turns on it and have a blast. I like the sport clutch on it since its use is optional and allows those without experience to ride without worrying about stalling. Stay safe and have fun!
@@accelley yes exactly my wife would be using it too, I want to buy brand new not used . The raptor 700r is huge and needs to be used with clutch so my wife would have a hard time
@@accelley you think it be fine in the dunes with paddles but noting to crazy , just cruising along my son and a few small small climbs? Appreciate it very much .
