To really appreciate DCT on this bike you have to test it in city commute. I drives like a scooter and it is the only crazy fast bike you can use it for that purpose. It is brilliant.
Honda missed the boat by 10 years. BMW Cashed in with the K1200RS and GT models in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Why did Honda wait so long? Because their marketing department just doesn’t get it. Shame, this bike could have had a significant impact in that period with the FVR800 and this bike, they could have had a piece of the big pie. Even so, the bike is missing cruise control and electric windshield features that steered buyers to BMW, Yamaha and Kawasaki. Plus there should have been a GT version with cruise control, lower foot pegs, larger fairing a lower exhaust with full luggage. Maybe even floor board option since there is no foot shifter. This is always the problem with Honda, they just don’t get it anymore. They are out of touch with the market and what people want. They haven’t led the market in any way since the introduction of the Gold Wing and original VFR. They are always trying to keep up, too late.
