Hi ABR Team! I have a question that could become a topic in the next 'Garage podcast/ video'... I really enjoy taking on the biking adventures and really enjoy recording/ editing and sharing with the world! as a beginner trying to up my game with commentary and footage, is there any tips and tricks you can help with? I have had a few exchanged with James in regard to my recent adventures, detailing the created video's and most of the time I need to play sound over the footage as the commentary is a bit dull! - any help would be appreciated! There are SO MANY excuses for the enormous amount of mistakes made in its design, purpose and Final product. HUGE hopes were placed on the TransAlp..... it´s not a good Off Roader... it´s not a good On Roader, Low unprotected exhausts and with 850mm Seat height, Low Exhaust tip, Tubed Tires and No (real) Adjustable front Suspension.... not to mention you need Rally or Adventure Kits to make it a better Off Roader... My Conclusion: "They will sell many bikes... but a Bike review is not meant to predict sales and if it sells it´s a great bike...." Too many shortcomings and too many cover ups and excuses from so many Bike Journalists.... (Because it´s a Honda??)

I agree 100% with your thorough elaboration and conclusion. Whatsoever, Honda managed to dissapoint also its potential customers who were expecting DCT version. Big failure from Honda. Also, tubeless tyres are "must" for every adv.bike (90 % of drivers including myself are not capable to solely change tubes in the woods!!! Its a matter of safety not luxury).

Yeah I think the Hornet seems to be the "better bike" for its purpose than the Transalp. If only Honda made a sports tourer instead...

Seem perfect for me because I tend to stay on road but my roads are gravel, muddy, and snowy... plus I'm in it for the 90hp vs the tenere which is only 70hp. I like the dealership and reliability of the Honda. Plus, those "complaints", can easily swap out later, or upgrade. The ktm 790 would be the ideal bike but its chinese and I simply don't trust ktm reliability
