This year I bought my first Honda: a 6seats 80 k miles 2010 Freed, Wish my next one is the 6 seats aircraft.

Wow! Back in 1966 when I had a Honda CT-55 Trail 55 bike, I never would have thought that one day the company would be building state of the art executive jet aircraft!

2600 nm.. bet you , if they add another 60 gallons of fuel (the luggage hold shrinking) and remove 1 passenger slot all together.. you could get better then 3000 nm. This would be a game changer .. a possible jump across the pond and in to Europe.. with a light bizjet.. Honda would have orders out the back side for decades.

I'll buy this when they make the Type R.

From mini-trail 50s + seventies 2 Small Business Jet and executive business Jets that's quite a leap I'm waiting for the Super Sport version it will probably handle as well as a 954rr which is to say phenomenal and a lot of fun to fly.

I have been following This Aircraft ever since it was introduced lovely Aircraft And Honda's have very good Air Conditionings in them and its very Fast for a small Aircraft.

Demand outstrips production capacity for the Hondajet. This is obviously to compete with larger business jets, but I am betting they’d be better served (financially) by focusing on maximizing profits of the existing Hondajet with the current model and variants to serve different demands.

Honda will make it, as it really really makes sense. Not only that, its achieves its range far more efficiently than much higher costing jets. It also comes with a degree of prestige. people will know Honda is not playing around ,it will deliver on promises. And it has an example already in active service. The original Honda Jet. Its a multi class disrupter to say the least.

I'd love to fly one. No I don't know how nor am I a millionaire. The cockpit windows look lovely and I wonder if the flight controls are designed as they are with the expectation the plane will be flown by the owner, rather than or as well as a professional crew.

My buddy, Larry Blakely, chief structural engineer at Boeing proposed a design, YC-14, with engines on top of wings and sharing the landing gear structure. It also reduced the possibility of ingesting foreign material into the engine. Good to see it was a valuable concept Larry (RIP) would smile. Iguana

WOW didnt know about this.. but only makes sense. Honda can make a real killing with this one, as the Honda Jet itself is already stupendously impressive. But i like that theyve kept things hush hush, Im sure the standing market place will quake at the knees with this news.

Let's see one configured with 9 standard passenger seats for use in commuter air travel. Even better, let's see an enlarged one with 19 standard passenger seats for commuter air travel. Could be a perfect way to replace the aging Beech 1900s.

I mean, I remember seeing a deep dive on the HondaJet in my aircraft design class in ~2002. So almost twenty years later we call this the future? It's not like Honda lacks the resources, so what gives?

Maybe they will make a honda regional jet for express flights and or maybe one that could be considered a narrow body aircraft

Such a missed opportunity by Honda with range potential, why not aim for 3750 miles or 6000km so its easily able to cross the Atlantic to many European city's, or via Hawai to easily cross the pacific ?

Honda should perk up and pay more attention to the celera instead of focusing on gradual improvements. If the plane does come up, it will be exactly the same class as the Honda jet, same price, and obviously steal all of Honda business

Its 2400 miles from NY to LA. That might be pushing it depending on payload.
