Hondata Speedo Fix Pt2: CSS or VSS, it'll work!
Your K-series swap transmission uses a countershaft speed sensor (CSS) instead of vehicle speed sensor (VSS). You wired in the new connector, but when you drive the car, the speedometer reads 120 MPH pulling out of the driveway and you just put 15 miles on the odometer driving around the block. That's not good, so how do you fix that?
If your car has a K-Pro ECU that was installed at Hondata, you have almost everything you'll need to fix this problem. Follow along as we show you how to wire the adapter harness so the corrected signal goes to your speedometer.
