Thanks for being on this episode Drew. Im going to look into your book! I love educating myself on what to say to others when sharing the gospel or answering questions unbelievers have. Appreciate anyone furthering the gospel in these types of ways. And thank you Got Questions! I use your site all the time for myself. 😊

Some people have faith because they have had a religious experience confirming their belief, like myself. This was interesting to listen to, thank you.

I agree that going into a dissertation of God's sovereignty or Theodicy in the face of someone's soffering can be counted as clumsy at best and cold and unfeeling at worst. However, at times like those described, I am reminded of some wise words by Warren Wiersbe: "Truth without love is brutality, love without truth is hypocracy." In today's feminized Christianity only the first half of that quote all too often witnessed, with the second half all but forgotten. Let us never forget the Jesus is all about both love AND truth. He is, afterall, "true truth," to apply a quote from yet another contemporary giant of the Faith, Francis Schaeffer. God's grace and peace.

Do you think there is something wrong with revealing what has been exposed that’s been suppressed? Like Archeological finds .
@DarkRainLofi
@DarkRainLofi 2 месяца назад
I don't think so...cause a lot of archeology proves the Bible accurate. I think you would like the RU-vid channel Expedition Bible. It's all about archeology proving the Bible real! ❤

Seems a bit shallow and unchallenging, Christianity is amazing and exciting, really, that is what gets repeated in this video. Where is talk of giving up the old self, carrying ones cross, sharing in Christ's suffering. Suggesting that we use "The Chosen", as something like a commentary on God's Word will lead to very creative license on people's understanding of how and what God intended to tell us in HIS Story of HIS Ways and Desires for His children. His Words of Love, coming from The One Who Is Love must not be creatively used to appease those who want to make following Jesus more comfortable or Hollywood friendly. God's Love involves very much, obedience and discipline with our learning and growing in His Wisdom and Hope and Joy and the works He has prepared for true worshipers, bringing Glory to His Name. This did not seem like the usually quality and faithfulness of Got Questions.

I dont like the word apologetics,its as if they are opoligizing for their faith in our Lord God and saviour Jesus Christ.
@honestchristianity936
@honestchristianity936 2 месяца назад
I agree with you but for a different reason. I don’t like how apologetics is considered to be in a separate category to Bible theology/study. Seminaries should be wholly devoted to apologetics in their first year of all study streams. Pastors are generally not equipped to communicate with non-Christian audiences after seminary and I am of the opinion this needs to change.
