Lee Soo Man and SM initially planned to debut Yunho, Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu and Changmin as solo singer since each five of them had an excellent performing skills. They're a capable singer, dancer and rapper. But well the company finally decided to put them together as a team and that's how KPOP's ultimate ace group was born. The best live-singing and acapella KPOP group ever. It's too bad that their time as a 5-members group was so short.

They were just THAT good that it took me a DECADE to start stanning another group. I loved them dearly and they made me so happy but at the same time I cried a lot in that time. I will never forgive SM for breaking the group which could be the GOAT.

This group is legendary because SM picked all the main vocals from the trainees back then and TVXQ happened. SM called this group their Dream Team and indeed, they are the dream team; 5 main vocals, all of them can dance and perform and their charisma on stage is chef's kiss. They were so big during their prime, everyone knew them.

This song was huuuuge back then! Their live performances was so so good! Nothing nowadays can honestly compare. OT5 TVXQ was THE it boy group. All 5 members were main vocal quality. You’ve prob heard it before bc a bajillion groups have covered this song lol. But I’m glad you enjoyed it. I always hold my breath when you react to older kpop songs bc 2nd/3rd gen was the prime of my love for kpop, and I know you “don’t like old kpop songs”. But I’m pleasantly surprised here

@@dvdgalutube in my honest opinion having been a fan of them since 07, having watched so many of their ballad performances, esp Love in the Ice, he can actually sing. EDT: I’m not the type of fan who will defend or be overtop about where it’s not valid to be. There are other idols who are in the vocal line in their own respective groups, that I do feel like is debatable whether they can sing or not. But when it comes to OT5 dbsk, I truly think they are all very solid vocalists

Mirotic is truly one of the most covered KPOP songs ever and pretty much everyone miraculously knows its fanchant somehow. DBSK were unbeatable back then and became idols as well as an inspiration and motivation to a lot of younger idols themselves. Their discography has so much to offer and although their upbeat songs are amazing, their ballads are what truly got me into their music, especially their live performances of those. The amount of harmonizations, each member's individual vocals and the adlibs are chef's kiss.

MY BOYS TTTT Tvxq was/is basically what bts is today BUT without the help of the internet, RU-vid, Twitter and a global Fanbase ... And yet they were the first Band EVER Worldwide that had over 800k registered officials fanclub members (got a world record for that) and the most photographed band world wide too (again another world record) And BTW. Mirotic is THE NATIONAL ANTHEM of Korea. There is not a single person in that country no matter how old who doesn't know the song or doesn't do the fanchants whenever the song is played.

I found TVXQ when it was just Changmin and Yunho. This is my first time hearing TVXQ with all the 5 original members. If they were a new group releasing this song today it would be an instant hit. I guess what I’m trying to say is it’s timeless. This is going on my playlist.

They have a lot of good songs from when they were still 5! Many of the title tracks are RnB style. Would definitely recommend their debut song Hug especially now that it's been remastered.

Mirotic is the it song of KPOP everyone from all gens of kpop whether fan or not has somehow heard. It has been covered/performed by almost every boy group & some girl groups after TVXQ. But no one has ever come closed to TVXQ. Well no other kpop group ever consisted of every member as main vocalists and main dancers. I'm not a Cassiopeia but this is sth every Kpop fan should acknowledge.

TVXQ is one of the biggest 2nd generation boy group in kpop, they have been in this industry for almost 20 years, and they are still big and famous, even though they went through a BIG split they as the duo are amazing I highly recommend you their work

They were THE biggest group for the longest time. You talk kings of kpop? These were the OG kings. They broke records and were as popular in Japan as they were in Korea. Everyone knew them. Everyone still knows them. It’s sad for newer kpop fans to not know this group. This song was so iconic it got flagged as inappropriate 🤣. They had the biggest fan base in the world for years. God I love these boys. They were done so dirty by their company.

Changmin and Yunho have been pushing hard in Japan since they got out of the military and are doing well there, but I don’t know why they haven’t had a Korean comeback together is ages. Their solo stuff has done well, so wth SM. SM definitely did the rest of the guys dirty, and I’ll never not be bitter about it. 😭

Although I’m a multi-group stan, TVXQ will always be my number one and standard for the best group. I remember this song was released and it is the best comeback song! It is really easy to follow as well as the fanchant. Even now, when this song is played on kpop events, fans and non-fans know how the chant to this one.

This song is kind of a blueprint for a lot of things SM did in the future. (In terms of the *lyrics* [ie; the storyline...basically a lot of times SM music is connected in terms of concepts] and also the *music.* The melody you hear at 04:06 and 04:20 was reused (but sped up, and altered) in Red Velvet Irene and Seulgi's song Monster, at 01:08 of that song. (Both Mirotic and RV's Monster have Yoo Young Jin as one of the producers, who's one of the main producers in the company.)

This TVXQ back in 2008 where there still five members until 3 of them exit the group after the lawsuit on their contracts in 2010. You should react on their comeback on 2011 "Why (Keep Your Head Down)" or "Catch Me" where it starts the the group as a duo until now.

The song Mirotic is timeless. This proves that TVXQ was on a whole different level. I have not seen any kpop group that matched their overall perfection. Even now, BTS can't do sexy mature shii like this. Bigbang can't dance ultimate hardcore shii. HOT with not so good visual members. TVXQ can rap, dance, and every member can sing powerfully! SM tried to surpass BTS by creating a copy of TVXQ with top tier individuals merged as a team in Super M. Unfortunately, it still failed. I wonder, when will we see another kind of this class in kpop.

Actually it's also possible that you heard the song "Under my Skin" by the German singer Sarah Conner released 01 August 2008. It's funny because I'm German & her song was big here. You can imagine my surprised face when I heard this version for the first time 😂. It's also possible that you heard this one part in a BTS award show compilation. A girl groups covered it & the camera filmed BTS member reaction. So that's also a possibility. xD

When this song was released i didn't know much about kpop but at that time i heard it from Sarah Connor then later that year i got into kpop and heard TVXQ version and found out that both SM and Sarah Connor bought the song from the producer but each artist was under agreement to perform the song in certain areas , TVXQ in Asia and Sarah Connor in Europe and US. That's one of the reasons why this song is in everyone's minds whether they know it or not lol

I had to laugh at this reaction, because I knew how it felt. I figure countless acts have covered this song at some point; the first versions I heard were from SM Rookies and Monsta X (when Wonho was still with them), and thought it was an amazing song. Watching TVXQ afterwards absolutely blew me away. Wonderful vocalists and excellent performers, quite possibly the all-time greatest SM male group.

This song is a top classic ! Every KPOP fan from all generation know this song or hear this song, it’s iconic. Most of KPOP idols covered this song. TVXQ! are the idols of idols. Legends within legends. They are so talented. Fans nowadays say BTS pave the way for KPOP, yes sure, in the USA but in ASIA and particularly in JAPAN, SM ENT. & TVXQ! There is actually an English version of this song sung by a Western artist named Sarah Connor (the song title is Under My Skin) because the people who produced the song sold it to TVXQ and the western artist.
