Yeah but not everyone drops everything and starts to fanchant to Growl ! Not that Growl isn’t a great song or anything, the shit is greatness but Mirotic is truly the kind of iconic song that everybody can agree on ! Also Mirotic is timeless , and took Korea by storm , if we add the epic quality to the time that song has existed, it makes sense for it to have amass so many dedicated fans , this song is like My heart will go on or I’m feeling good , you know ICONIC, and sorry I don’t want to shatter your world but Growl has yet to attend the state of iconic , objectively , personals I love Growl , and maybe it will be remembered as Iconic, it a little to soon to say , I think !

what and wow. *not surprising* yet, I'm surprise most of the time songs that kpop call sexual or other concept get famous and leave golden mark. After joining the kpop community 2017, I realized it's like the same concept over again for groups ( there are other groups that are creative, just saying) except solos artists I see more creative.

@Sabine Graf I'm not sure if they can. 1. The name, the songs, the fanclub name are owned by sm. They have to start from zero 2. sm would fully blocked them. I think the reason sm can't do more (it's already really bad for the 3) is because they can't jeopardize the reputation of the 2 that stays. So if all 5 left, sm won't pull punches....
@@chetzgrizzly Not like zero and they basically left the group not the group left the company so sm allow them to take fandom name and group name They had everything in 2010 and did Tokyo dome tours and also huge venues of Korea Because of the huge fandom support and their japanese fandom And they were actually made by their Japanese label avec trax in Japan as jyj after the lawsuit thing with SM and they continued to be jyj until their milatry duties But still jaejoong talk about TVXQ as our group .... Just they can't promote on music shows

Their company just messed everything up they were the kings of the east literally but the slave contracts even at the height of their careers they were robbed from the money they actually deserved. Some filed a lawsuit against the company and some decided to stick with it. This caused the group to split apart and its sad they were legends.

Started it with by f*ck up H.O.T first, created another new great one TVXQ and then f*ck up it again. At least TVXQ still there till now although just 2 members left. Different story with H.O.T, the last 2 members whom SM kept (Kangta and Heejun, they changed to became soloist.. H.O.T really was no more after the other members (JTL) left SM. Although they are back re grouped again now, but its already been 17 years... too much time been passed. As H.O.T fan I am still pissed off of what happened in the past. I hope TVXQ could also re group again just like H.O.T before too much time being waste and create another legendary song performance.
I'm saying this for multiple reasons, this ones are the only SM group who could have made it in the US, no flaws, aaaah ..... what a waste Visuals SM like soo much, on point Vocals to serénate audience, A++ Dancing ability to charm the audience, obviously YES, in each one of them.

1:29 Kim Jaejoong was called "Visual shock" in all Asia because his visual is very very handsome and soft but therefore strong !!!!! Jaejoong is most loved in Japan too because his personality is little bit close to Japanese😂😭👏🥺💖 Xia Junsu succeeded as a musical actor after leaving TVXQ.

I miss DB5K!! 😭 They sing live and thats one of many reasons i stan them. Samples are, korean live perf of inkigayo "love in the ice", dream concert 2008 "Tonight" but their japanese live performances (as Tohoshinki) are epic too like 2008, 2009 a-nation performance, "proud" and "wasurenaide" are my favs.
"Why isn't it called Under my skin?" Me, as a German: OH WELL LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING. This song was sold to SM and to a German Label as well. There is an English version of the song of a famous German singer and that one is actually called Under my skin. Just as a little fun fact. :D
SM was a few years ahead compared to other companies back then. The first time I watched this mv when it was released, I wasn't familiar with the concept and was like "what the fuck is this?", but a few years later I started to appreciate it. They were the very first group that are good looking, can dance, and can sing. And the very first group to debut in Japan.
No one can top EXO M's cover it was short and not to prepared but they killed it It would be amazing if exo have ever covered the whole song properly like a special stage

My heart soared when I saw this video. This group was the reason I got into kpop back in 06'. I still listen to it til this day. Their Love in The Ice live performance still gives me chills
Thank you for reacting to my favorite boy group of all time. When people talk about 2nd generation, they forget about the KINGS that started that! If 2nd generation is known for their passion for stage, self-expressiveness, U-know Yunho would be the epiphany of that. Once upon a time, even BEFORE Super Junior, Big Bang, SNSD, and 2NE1, there was an era called TVXQ. P.S. I know you love BTS a lot. BTS's founder, Bang Si-hyuk once commented "THE group that should've never disbanded is TVXQ". I still miss them so much, and they were the ones inspired not only BTS but also other boy groups to be who they are today.
I still miss them too. They are my ultimate Kpop bias group and will probably always be. My heart totally broke when they split and JYJ were cast out and it was one of the most isolating experiences for me as an international fan. For me, the way BTS express themselves, work hard, interact and grow together is the closest to the spirit I felt from 東方神起 OT5 back in the day, especially when they were establishing themselves in Japan after huge success in Korea. Unlike other groups that I knew of back then, their fans were also diverse across age and ethnicity. These days I thoroughly enjoy BTS's music. As individual members they make me laugh and uplift me like 東方神起 used to back in the day ...not as a replacement ...just them being themselves. I've been a fan since their debut and over that time they have become my bias group of now. It saddens me that 東方神起 were not able to have the freedom and guidance of someone like Bang Si-hyuk. My heart still wants to see them reunite one day even if only for one song or album. I wonder if we will have to wait as long as HOT fans...

Someone needs to get BRIS to react to Xia - Tarantallegra, Xia- Flower, and Kim Jaejoong - Mine if he hasn't yet for October themed videos. They had to change the lyrics of Mirotic in order to perform it on stage to "Under my sky" instead of "under my skin".
I read somewhere that they had the biggest amount of people in the concerts in Korea, Japan at that time. And all were going crazy about them. TRUE legends.
this is my jam when i go to karaoke.. if they're still together i bet no other group can beat them.. all of them can sing and really have a great voice, really good at dancing, they can rap too and they also good looking.. perfect package and i think there are no group like that again.. True King of K-pop !!!
they are legend!! and the only boyband group that can do awesome acapella and amazing live vocals. I think until today, they are still at the top for vocal performances

They are the reason why I've been into KPOP. I still remember back in 2005, they came to my country and I went to their concert. I had a goosebump when sang "Tonight". They were really amazing as a team. There's no doubt why everyone called them as Legend of Kpop.
People still go wild when this song comes up live - over a decade on. The two remaining members under the name TVXQ have managed to cover the range of voices in their current lives so well. Instant pump up!

This song is iconic! You should watch their live performances and you'll hear their high notes and harmony. Mirotic is Konglish. Miro means maze. Mirotic is like trapped in a maze.
I had to stop watching my programs so I could watch this REACTION!!! OMGGGGG THE KINGZZZZZZZ. Of course there are live versions of this lol, check it out, their vocals are UNREAL. Funny you said that it should be called "Under My Skin" because there is a German artist who did a song with the same music and it was called "Under My Skin." In the live versions they changed it to "Under My Sky" because the broadcast stations thought it was too "racy." Also they didn't like the lyrics "Red Ocean." People were so uptight back then.

They definitely performed this live more than a few times lol it was one of the biggest kpop songs ever. If you're interested in watching them live though, I'd recommend either Love in the Ice or Bolero. Their live vocals and harmonization were unreal.
