My attitude would do a complete 180 on this series

No, please they should not do that, the assassins vs templars is an extremely interesting story and i love the concept and the links it has to real life.

Its still assassin's creed, the game does show how the Assassin's are spread out in the world within various factions and regions, not everyone is going to be that basic assassin, people fight by their own fighting styles but they still have the same goal, to defeat the templars.

Or methodical histories

I would say ne the 3rd, the newer ones is just like any other game. Not about actual assasins or history anymore.

@@littnuke what I mean is the older ones have made it so there is not a lot of history and very corny compared to ones like assasins creed 2. Valhalla brought the history back but ones like oddysey and origins had nothing to do with history really.

@@thepunisherplayz Odyssey had historical figures. This game is just as inaccurate if not more so. Also, AC2 is still 700 years after this so perhaps the creed hasn't been created.

Wasnt that big a fan on how they left off with this modern story. Hopefully the dlc adds more before the next AC game.

@@videohound2005 No, the DlC should add more to Valhallas story, not the overall Assassins Creed plot. I hated the fact that Odyssey included all of its modern day plot in the DLC. Ubisoft should not charge more to understand the story in the next game. DLC should just be extra story adding to Eviors story

@@gm2407 It's still going... Tekken 7 came out in 2019 and they've been doing DLC for it ever since and it's been the biggest commercial success in the game series' history. Tekken 8 is reportedly in the works, too.

@Ludimeel Sorbo - Since Black Flag, they just don't feel like *Assassin's Creed* games any more. Don't get me wrong, Black Flag was a good game in its own right but it didn't *feel* like an AC game, it felt like a pirate game with some AC elements bolted on. There was less focus on the modern story, less overall about the Assassin's lore and history, and it was even easier, it felt more arcady. I'm sure many people love the new arcady-style with numbers popping up over heads, giant mythical beasts like in DarkSouls, heat-seeking arrows, and insanely fast-paced over-the-top combat, but it's not for me. Assassin's Creed died with AC3 for me. _(AC3 bored me and started the change away from the feeling and gameplay of first 4 games)_

@@Stop_Pre-Ordering_Video_Games +1 from me too. Loved the first 4 games, ACIII was boring, dull and no character, Black Flag was great but it wasn't an Assassins Creed game it was a pirate game. It's downhill from there :'(
