Getting one cube is bullshit though

Doing it solo in HC kinda sucks though XD. One wrong step and you have to start completely over from scratch. And you can't rely on some god mode tank build to save you. (although you can cheese it with a friend, at least until it gets patched)

Totally agree. My favorite tidbit is that the cubes move in rhythm with the music. It helped me when navigating the arena.

The problem with the cube is that no amount of grinding or looting can prepare you for it, it's 100% pure skill-or-fail.

@@NevTheDeranged So it's like Sekiro? Afaik a lot of people really like Sekiro, even considering it the best FromSoft game.

@@ArawnOfAnnwn sekiro is def my favorite game, but also I think there’s a difference when that’s the whole game, vs when a game surprises you with something like this part way through. Sekiro is specifically built around pure skill-based challenge from the ground up, and while I haven’t played remnant 2 yet (pls don’t crucify me I’m getting to it) it doesn’t seem like it’s built that way. When you get surprised with a sekiro boss in the middle of not sekiro it can feel frustrating and jarring. Especially when that boss can’t be beaten by smacking dude with sword and parrying to make satisfying “CLANG” noises

Its tedious compared to the other bosses. Interesting "fight" the first time around but it gets boring fast

Game feels pretty grindy. You have to explore a whole dungeon including a boss fight just to get 1 or 2 randoms items as reward.

@@constipatedparker5879 none of the items are random all have guarantied ways to get them. secondly most rpgs have you go trough a whole dungeon and a boss fight to get 1 item

If it comes out pasty....

I played both, and while the first one is good, Remant 2 is so much better in every aspect it boggles the mind.

Honestly, they are NOT bad games; although I rage like a rabid wolf when I play them; I realize that is more of a "me" thing and not the game being bad.

Well. There are 3 worlds (devs have hinted at more in DLC). Each world has 2 main storylines. So there is a total of 6 main stories that run parallel to the "Game Story". If you are confused, just know I am doing my best to not drop spoilers because this is an "experience game" that is best played "blind" for your first run. But there is one world I will tell you about. The one that was flown into the center of a supermassive black hole that caused a Big Bang. And the world sat in this blackhole as the entire universe went through MULTIPLE heat deaths and Big Bangs. It say there for so long that this dead world had many many apocalypses. So many in fact, that half of the cool factor when you are there is figuring them all out.
