Here is a quick explanation of what I remember about Hala Hala. Ateez debuted with two title tracks (Treasure and Pirate King), some people started to say that they had popularity only for their visuals and not for their talent so for their first comeback, Say My Name, they decided to shut up mouths. Normally in every comeback they always release 2 videos (sometimes they have 2 title tracks and other times it's 1 mv of the title track and the mv or a performance video of a b-side) so in Hala Hala they basically forced people to focus on the song and their talent, that's why no flashy scenery, dark suits and covering their faces with masks and hats. The other part is that all this has to do with the Ateez universe and all the theories, when they are dressed like that they are called dark Ateez since they are their evil version (I think, I'm not really into all that). sorry if something is not understood, english is not my first language.

At first, I don't really click with their music too but after I go in depth with their other songs I found more interest. When u mention about ateez color is red, man I got goosebumps. Cause ateez definitely have two different songs. Red songs and blue songs. The red songs is the more powerful, cooler, and hard hitting songs that mostly talk about their ambition for being success and their passion for music. Hala hala is one of them. Blue songs is the more melodic, melancholic and sometimes ballad songs that mostly talk about love to their fans, family, members, self love and self encouragement. For example like treasure, star117, celebrate, and many more. Idk if u want to give another reaction to more ateez songs in the future but I hope u do cause I will definitely check them out.
