You know that "Chicken Noodle Soup" is an old song? I don't remember the artist's name, but I remember dancing those exact dance moves as a kid in my room with my cousins ;) So the whole "Chicken noodle soup with a soda on the side", "a let it rain and clear it out" and those dance moves are a big throwback to their (and mine) childhood memories :) They even sing about their childhoods in the lyrics (at least Hobi does, I don't know Spanish). PS.: Because I know those moves, I can dance to it immediately. I would never expect me to dance to BTS song with ease like that lol

this is why i think twitter is the best place if someone wants to keep up with most recent bts stuff. twitter army figured out a becky g collab's on it's way weeks ago from just few seconds of korean snacks on her acc. :D becky and jhope also @ each other yesterday with CNS as the # that further aroused speculations. a few hours later we already figured out that the song title gonna be chicken noodle soup via searching up trademarked songs by bh. the official announcement came around 7-8 hours before the song actually dropped. so yeah, there was some knowing buzz building up already before it dropped. also like others already commented, 'chicken noodle soup' song was already a big song back in 2006 alongside with its dance that became what you'd consider "viral" among young people back then. that's why a lot of people, especially americans, knew about what vibe to expect from this. the original artist whose beat was sampled for this is actually getting credits and paid as giving respect to that. jhope said he wanted to touch on this song bc this was the first dance he learned when he started dancing. lastly, the dancer are professional dance crew. hope that helps. :)

YES, we were expecting this collaboration or at least I did 😆 since Hoseok left to LA without the boys there were rumors that Becky was also there and someone even asked a guy from her team about it and he said that everything could happen and that he couldn’t say a word, so must of us started with some theories... YES, the choreography created by Hobi also inspired by the original choreo and he taught it to everyone on the music video, they worked with around 50 dancers from different places around the world. NOW talking about Becky’s part in Spanish could be kind of like this: “chicken noodle or chicken with spaghetti, none of these women have the flow that Becky has, Latin American, I’m from here..” here comes the part where she says CARA DE SANTA which literally santa will mean saint but given the context of the song will be more like innocent so it could go like this “innocent face yet/but freaky, who’s gonna tell me?
