3:53 it is oily. I have purchased this product to "stop" or "prevent" my oiliness, but it makes my skin oily the moment I apply it after washing my face with a salicylic acid face wash. It give a very oily finish.
Hey I am using salicylic acid serum with niacinamide since 2 months both in AM and PM for tiny bumps that I have on my forehead. Sometimes I feel like it’s getting worse, what should I do? I should continue using this serum for some more time?
Hello maam...(i have oily skin )im using minimalist salcylic acid cleanser and salicylic acid serum!! can i use mamaearth oil free moisturizer (acne prone skin)or Cetaphil moisturizer cream ???
I used this serum or one day and I'm feeling dryness around my mouth and some pimples on my cheeks? Should i stop using it? And I'm using plum niacinamide 5% together
It did the same for me and then turned into a proper breakout! I can’t really know what’s happening on your skin but I suggest do not continue if you feel it’s irritating your skin
@@srishtidubey thankyou so much bcoz I'm beginner for skin care and don't know much about skin care!! And can u please tell how much serum can be in once?
Hey My dermat recommend this 2%saylicilic acid face serum from minimalist but the problem is she said use indoshine face in the morning and in night use serum and cms dervia gel by washing your face with normal water (without facewash; may be because of indoshine facewash include active ingredients like: saylicilic acid , niacinamide, gycolic acid and many more..) And she also said stop using moisturiser my skin type is normal/combination, what should I do should I follow what she said ..? 🥺 I'm totally confused some people say you can't use cms dervia gel with 2% saylicilic acid face serum..! 😫🥲
That’s complex! I honestly don’t think I’m qualified to answer this as I’m not a professional! However, I would suggest you see another dermat if you have doubts about her treatment. Pertaining to salicylic acid, generally it’s better to NOT mix it with other actives as it is pretty strong on its own and mixing strong actives can reduce potency of the ingredients.
Muze bhi same yahi hua tha....1st day using...i have got 2 pimples on my face...and it's streng... because mene isase pehle...dermaco ka salicylic acid use Kiya tha...and tottaly satisfying by using it...but i just try another syirum mene ....minimilist ki bottel try Kiya...lekin Mera ye hal hua hai... I don't know ki age me ye use kru ya nahi.....
Hlo srishti,i am 22 years aged girl, now I got pimples on my left cheek, don't know why,🥺 could you please tell me which serum should I have, salicylic or niacinamide,my skin is combination type, could you please let me know which serum should I use, also which brand,
Hi, niacinamide is generally a great serum to use. It has a multi-potential; can serve for acne issues, glow, marks etc! I would personally prefer niacinamide. But, it also very much depends on your skin condition. You might need a salicylic acid! If it’s severe you should consult a dermat
I have the same skin condition I used 1 week and pimples are coming all over ky face plzz Reply u continue or not ??? At present time whatss Ur skin is it healthy or not
Moisturizer zaroori h kya serum ke bade mujhe kuch din hi hue h serum use krte hue or mujhe pimple arhe h only serum mujhe sai lagta h mositurizer mujhe oilly double layer feel kr vata h
Aap ko apki skin condition k hisab se serum use karna chaiye. And moisturiser important hai. Agar apka face oily hota hai toh Ap light moisturiser (oil free wala) use karlo
Hey it's been only 1 week since I start using salicylic acid serum and I'm facing skin purging, I've just applied it 2 times a week, I'm afraid to use it more. My skin type is acne prone sensitive skin. Should I stop using it or should I continue it more. Please reply.
Your skin will purge! However, like I mentioned it got worse for me and took about 4 months to clear. One has to be patient with salicylic acid. However, if you don’t like your skin reacting to it, you can stop.
@@srishtidubey Hey thanks for your reply, it's been month since I'm using it like I said my skin was purging at the start but now I'm seeing it's affect on my skin. My acne's are slowly fading there are just tiny bumps and acne marks now and my skin feel smooth as compared to before also. I think I will keep continue using this salicylic acid serum :)
hello mam, Maine Ye serum use kiya, phele tou mera pura face pel redness Hogaya tha infection jaise, thn aapka experience Janne ke baad Maine use krna stop ny kiya, but ab mere face pe hairs aane lge hain. should I stop using it?
Hey Srishti, So even I started using minimalist salicylic acid serum and after 3-4 weeks of using using it i started getting pimples and I have stopped using it and now its been 2 months since i stopped using it and i still have been getting pimples and I still have active pimples so what do you think should I start using it again? I NEVER had pimples/hormonal acne whatsoever! but i had some tiny bumps hence I started using this serum and rest is the history I would like your view on it, Thanks for sharing your honest review!
Honestly I feel you should have continued using it.. my skin cleared up after 7 weeks of continuous usage.. nevertheless.. if it’s getting serious maybe contact a dermat
hey srishti! I have forehead bumps and blackhead problem so which is the best serum...and also I'm confused between dermaco and minimalist...so please suggest which brand is best
@@jhumpabera2245 it’s generally good but just use it once a day max. Do a psych test for sure and if the issue doesn’t resolve in 4-8 weeks, consult a dermat
Those bumps can be a fungal/bacterial infection, blackheads/whiteheads etc. It’s imp to have a diagnosis. If you re not aware, I’d suggest you see a dermat
Hi mam actually I have lots of blackheads on my nose and also a little bit whiteheads on my face and normal porse problem also there so I am using this product how many day will clear a result
@@mamtapokharel5994 I started with once a day as recommended and then moved to twice. The brand itself says it’s a mild serum and can be used everyday. However, you are right, this acid has the potential to irritate the skin
