Honestly with games where sound ques are a big factor I could see why the left stick would be useful like in rainbow it can help you slow walk and make no noise
Don't put them on either one if you want to be a great player. I used them, ran full sensitivity, but the aiming is so bad when fast paced movements are needed. Especially close range. They might be good on scout and snipers when you keep your distance. Maybe like battlefield. But for fast paced games, it's a very hard pass.
I'm a cod player and my experience was very similar. I wasn't impressed at first , I tried the black ones and I couldn't move at all . 😆 I was surprised how tough these rings are . So I did the same I put just 1 green ring on the right stick . I only paid £4 .
I used these rings for the past year or so but i found that the plastic keeps rubbing off and falling into the joystick which makes u have mechanical stickdrift at times so i will avoid these in the future and get a controller with increased tension joysticks
@@salmondo3451 Yes you need to buy a joystick module and a stick drift fix chip because the new joystick module will most likely have to be calibrated and there is no other way of calibrating it afaik. There are also 3d hall effect sticks which won't need calibration but the ones available are listed for ps4. They should work on the ps5 controllers but i havent used them yet to tell.
Long time mouse and keyboard player. I recently moved to the controller and have been playing only for a couple of weeks and got my precision rings 3 days ago, and it definitely increases those KDs. I only used mine on the right stick.
You got to break them in like shoes they don’t feel as good until I wold say a consistent 2 weeks of use. And I wouldn’t recommend it for the movement joystick, I had a great time with these back in the Cold War days since I would use these rings and a KontrolFreek and I noticed a complete change in aim and it allowed me to play in higher sensitivity.
@@RafzCampz he literally said that he removed the rubber band on the left sticker near the end of the video and only used the right stick. That's why I said listen before you make a comment.
@@Agilepickleuniteno, you just have to get used to it. Gyro is way better for fps, if you play on steam. The native support for gyro on most games is terrible.
For me, I think something went wrong with my order when it arrived. For some reason, the black ring, which is supposed to hav the most resistance, is the softest out of the 3 rings -- softer than the green. My guess is that this black ring must hav been squeezed for too long that it lost its resistance? Idk. All ik is that green was just right for me. If I use purple, I might need a higher joystick.
The left stick was never ment to be used with anything lol the whole point of kontrol creek is for your right stick your aim your control to look fine adjustment not movement or running
For good reason it fit for joycon stick size but makes me felt liek this grip ring to avoid stick drift when not using it or rather give it to someone, friend or people you afraid will make your controller get stick drift
It makes you easily able to aim slowly like low sensitivity and fast because of the high sens as all it does is make you need more strength to move them around, you can still do the higher senses but it is more controllable
@@POOPIEFISH123Lolz I got them, they are terrible for fast paced games. Even on the highest sensitivity the stick won't go far enough (green disk) to counter people sliding and jumping over you. Unless you snipe all day in a corner I wouldn't use them. It helps against overshooting, but that's also the problem when you need very quick movement. I did better without them than with so took them off again. I'd rather only use the thumb stick with an elevated kontrolfreek.
I have the silicon ones they are really good I play on 14-14 sens now when I used to play on 7-7. It takes patience to get used to, like 2 weeks of practise in multiplayer
@@PitBullet I'm not sure which one causes it, but I have the controlfreek thumbgrip extenders and the silicon precision rings and I had to turn my deadzone up from 0.05 to 0.07 on warzone but the difference isn't noticeable. After about a week my KD went up by like 0.5
