If they’re gonna retire all of the additional content it would be so nice to do a goodbye video (like so many RU-vidr retirement videos lately); SJU News was one thing in the middle of COVID, and they did individual goodbyes for Roth, Dan, and Joe. Aquaman and the Lost Plot: How to Kill a Movie Forced Comedy. Seriously, there's hardly any action of drama for a superhero movie. I think most of us can agree the DC Universe has been pretty much dead for years, but this was definitely the final nail in the coffin. A fitting end, at least, that embodies everything that when wrong. This review's gonna do better than the movie ever did.

The thing I liked about the Broseidon Adventure is that it kind of felt like, what if you had an adventure with Original Aquaman and New Aquaman together? Also, orichalcum (gold stone) is just bronze, that's literally what the original word refers to.

The Lost Kingdom hasn't made it's money back. Typically theatres take half of the box office, so a film generally must make double + the marketing spend. This film reportedly cost $205m, then add another $25m for marketing, means that it needs to make $560m at the box office to break even, and only made just over $400m, leaving a hole of $160m.

@@Nezui Studios take 70-90% of domestic revenue in a movie's first month, which is why theaters charge so much for concessions. International numbers get wonkier after that, due to currency exchanges and going to war against certain dictatorships.

@@commandercaptain4664 The percentages changes over time. Initially the studios take more, but the longer a film plays, the more percentage the theatres take. In the end it mostly averages out to 50% for most films. It is a long established fact that a rough 50% take is what most blockbusters receive of the box office after their run in the cinemas (this has been going on for years).
