Every single clunky ass awkward romance dialogue deserved a sin, and every single line delivery by Amber Heard. I've never seen her in anything before and I can say I am glad, she seemed super bored and her lines were torture. Jason just seems awkward when he responds but at least he has charisma.

Extra Sin: Every time someone transitioned from water to air or vise versa there should have been an awkward half minute of vomiting water or sort-of-drowning as their lungs empty and refill with the new atmosphere. Also, I would totally eat the crab people. And, as a half sicilian I can tell you the underwater world and kingdoms are under more danger from hungry italians than the villains in this movie.

The movie turns 5 today! I remember seeing it with my older sister and her bf after Christmas at my mall So much fun to watch The CGI technology is well-utilized to explore the oceanic world of Atlantis and the Seven Kingdoms, almost every shot looks like a beautiful illustration literally from the pages I was actually pretty impressed how much of the visuals brought this mythology to life and reminded me of 'Star Wars' and 'Tron' The action scenes are so much damn fun to watch from the fight in Sicily to the final battle as well some laughs considering how dark and brooding the recent lineup of DCEU films have been of recently, it's more of the lighter side this time The sound design is incredible though it may be numbing for some considering this movie is 2 hours and 20 minutes Director James Wan conveys the ideas of being bi-racial, the oceans have polluted us not just the other way around, is a hero better than a king?, and environmentalism However you judge the acting and not all the jokes landing 100% this is still one of the most fun DCEU films! It’s definitely worth the wait and filled with enough family drama to go along with the spectacular CGI splendor a damn good stand-alone picture on its own
