Where does Justice League rank amongst the DC movie lexicon? Where do we rank amongst Honest Trailer creators? (please say one) Let us know in the comments and thank you for watching!
Well if you noticed in the movie the first time Steppenwolf was pushed away it took the combined efforts of Zeus, Ares, some female goddess (forgot her name), all of the amazons, all of the atlantians, a bunch of green lantern guys, human armies and who knows who else. So it clear that Steppenwolf is much more powerful than Ares.
how does this keep happening? simple Warner Bros keep F*cking up 3 things: 1.- they keep playing catch up to marvel 2.- they are just copying what they see its working in other superhero movies without checking if it fits the tone of the movie they are making 3.- they keep thinking their characters don't need development simply because we "know" them from comics at tv shows.
"Hi, I'm Captain America. Here to talk to you about the most valuable traits a soldier or student can have...patience. Sometimes patience is the key to victory, sometimes it leads to very little and it seems like its not worth it, and you wonder why you waited so long for something so disappointing....how many more of these." Even MCU is trying to help them out, they probably want to do a crossover but waiting for them to get their universe off the ground.
Tell me about it. Most of people already knows Bruce, Clark, Diana, Barry... all they had to do is come with a good plot cause thee good actors were already there. They had ONE job and screwed it on almost mystical proportions.... that pisses me off so much.
Just like Ultron, Abomination, Thanos, The Black Order, Surtur, etc... Stop pretending that the other enemies in superhero movies are practical effects.
THANK YOU for pointing out how certain trailer scenes are NOT in the actually movie! i hate when companies do that just to grab peoples attention, so THANK YOU AGAIN! awesome job again!
i think it's more that those shots were filmed with the intent of being in the movie but after the trailer was released they ended up cutting/changing them. But still super annoying
Me too. Because of the box office bomb and a shift in executive positions (again...), I've given up on DC. Unless I hear anything about rebooting, I'm staying out of it.
as a huge DC fan, this people who are currently in control for the films are very insulting. they should just stop and get someone worth it like how Nolan did
Josstice League: Cyborg, who is just there Zack Snyder cut: Cyborg will be the main focus of the movie with perfect backstory, solution and the most powerful of them all
If u are Familiar with DCEU then u wud have recognised the Significance of 'Orange Couloured Sky/Background' it is used when Super Serious Catastrophe/Disaster Occurs on Earth in DCEU.
Dude Justice League got so much potential for Character development like Superman trying to save the world that hates him Batman convincing Aqua-man to care for the land world The Flash is scared to actually uses his power to hurt another person Cyborg relationship Wonder-Woman distrust towards them
Luli Amb. Aside from the main leaders they were all wearing somewhat revealing outfits akin to in comfortable gym clothing in how formfitting they were in Wonder Woman but in Justice League we went from that to a good chunk of the ancillary amazons basically wearing bikinis.
PSYCHO PATH So true, they didn’t bother to develop them much and kept Snyder even after he obviously sucked! This is how IW made more in its opening weekend than Justice League in its entire run😂
@@MacTac141 his first avengers was great! For his second Avengers, he quit because Disney wanted him to balance a million things. I think he still did a decent job
@PERFECT CHAOS In the past, maybe, but in the past ten years, Shazam, Birds of Prey, and Wonder Woman are the only movies they've made that can be called good.
This movie really suffered from none of the elements being setup. In the Avengers all the heros, villains, side characters, and even the mguffin had been set up in past films.
I know right? There is no reason why I should care or root for these charakters, who I have no idea what their personalities are. I dont know anything about half these guys. It wasnt awesome seeing them fight together, it wasnt awesome seeing them interact with each other and it wasnt awesome seeing them succeed
Yep, they should have done the orgin stories before rushing the cross overs. Netflix and Marvel both understand that you need to get people to relate to the characters before you have them butt heads.
Hello TK. Honestly I don't know. DC has such fantastic characters and stories in the comics, which is why I made the statement that this movie shouldn't have been anything less than great, and the same goes for those movies as well. DC's execution seems to be the problem, they want to rush things so quickly to catch up to Marvel, that they forget to make a great movie in the process. I really wanted to love these movies, I'm a huge DC fan, but they were very disappointing for me.
It's bloody hard to write a compelling and innovative story with iconic characters that everyone has so many preconceived expectations about. Frankly, we should just be glad that The Avengers have pulled it off. DC isn't doing too badly with the Arrowverse TV shows focusing on more of the B-list superheroes most people aren't so familiar with. Looking at the final product of the DC films, it's easy to see points that could have been improved but you're never going to please everyone with such well-known characters and there have clearly been plenty of production issues. This could possibly be due to the tendency to pack in an as much fan service to appeal to a wider audience, diluting what really appeals to different people. Especially, following the success of Nolan's The Dark Knight and The Avengers, there's reasons to draw on elements that worked in either adaptation in the genre but a weird mix of both approaches clearly doesn't work. What's a shame is that they haven't learned from Marvel paving the way with more compelling antagonists, lighter themes, and more consistent tones. Still, I guess they'd also be criticised if they copied The Avengers too closely rather than trying something different. It's basically a no-win for the franchise at this point but they're doing better than Marvel on TV series and in Comic Book sales so DC will probably keep the cash-grab movies coming. They're probably better off ignoring the shared Universe stuff and going for more stand-alone success stories like Wonder Woman.
Marvel studios just knows how to make a great fun movie. WB should of waited until each character had their own movie before doing a team up. It's sad because I like the DC universe and the Justice League more than Marvel.
When wb themselves destroy their franchise by ruining suicide squad and justice league by not letting the writers and directors work, you know wb screwed up
I don't understand the end of BvS where they showed the dirt moving on his coffin, suggesting he was still alive, but then in this movie they had to dig him up and revive him with Krypton technology.
Karla Meza It's Warner Brothers making the movies not DC. DC rules the comicverse and their animated series and movies are top notch. If people had more creative control, I think they would have smashed the box office too.
Witness a film that looks like it's being rendered right before your eyes where this CGI villain steals the CGI boxes from their CGI hiding places, uniting the CGI heroes in a big CGI fight on a CGI battlefield until this CGI hero merges with this CGI box while the CGI villain gets punched in the mouth by the hero with a mouth made out of CGI
+Mr Manceres Exactly. Take Hela's outfit from Thor: Ragnorak, for example. For the most of the film, the suit is actually just cgi and mo-cap. And yet, just by looking at it, it looks as real as the armor Thor and Loki are wearing. I didn't even notice it was cgi until I watched a few of the films bloopers.
Steppenwolf was just awful! Ultron was full CGI yet he didn't feel as fake. For all the praise on Wonder Woman I thought the final battle with Ares was just horrible CGI fest and yet they managed to top that with Steppenwolf
The movie was fine, in my opinion, but that CGI was awful! The Avengers (2012) had better CGI. Video games that came out in 2015 had better CGI. Heck, even the infamous deer from TWD was more believable. And THAT is saying something.
MythicTyrant yeah i agree. For a movie that cost hundred million of dollars, I expect the cgi and visual looks good. But in this movie, it is a downgrade to bvs.
DC was never meant to be like marvel in first place even if both universes inspired eachother when it comes to charachters, but they are still very different when it comes to the concept and the atmosphere and personalities and sht
Steppenwolf looks and sounds so ridiculous I'm just waiting for someone to put up a health bar of a million hp above the head of this generic mmo raid boss
Doty Fuzz 1. The word “proves” in this saying means “tests, or challenges.” In this case, your “rule” fails the test. 2. Please name a DCEU villain who is better than any of those. Lex “Daffy” Luther? Hula-dancing Enchantress? Ares?
The problem, which has been a problem since DC started this failed crusade but is *_STILL_* a problem but they're not _acknowledging_ it, is that DC is trying to play catch-up. Marvel, the geniuses that they are, have been laying the ground work since 2008, with the first _Iron Man_ movie. They have slowly been building up steam, giving each character plenty of screen-time and exposure to really develop into full-fledged characters. Add TV shows and Netflix premiers, they got a full universe going before they hit the big time with the _Avengers._ DC, by contrast, saw how huge Marvel was getting and thought to themselves, "Hey, we need to jump on that bandwagon." They decided the so-so 2013 release of _Man of Steel_ was strong enough to launch the entire DCCU off of, without really giving any of the characters time to evolve and grow. They're trying to match the _Avengers,_ without giving the proper build up it got. They're like a car, trying to catch up with a bullet train mid-journey. They're never going to catch up, they need to find their own momentum.
My favorite scene was, when Louis told Clark, that he smells good, even through he was in a coffing for a year and probably smelled like dead people and poop
Honest Trailers Guy, say "My favorite scene was, when Louis told Clark, that he smells good, even through he was in a coffing for a year and probably smelled like dead people and poop"
If Warner Brothers made MCU movies: 1. Iron Man (2013) 2. Captain America vs Iron Man Civil War: Dawn of Avengers (2016) 3. Inhumans (2016) 4. Black Widow (2017) 5. Avengers Infinity War (2017) Do you, DCEU fans, see where the problem is? Its rushed as hell. I love DC, but DCEU isnt well made.
Sadly yes and the worst part is that they actually have a good cast. Afflecks's great. Gadot and supermanguy doing a good job and i liked how aquaman and flash got portayed. Just the story and the CGI are actually bad. Thats why id rather have smaller movies with better story and less CGI.
I had been avoiding this Honest Trailer because I did not want to have the movie spoiled, then yesterday when I wanted to watch the movie I was like "oh.... I did watch it... it was disappointing", totally had such disappointment erased from my mind.
@@drixcek9782 ok at best ? bro it literally has 0.1 score more than endgame...not dissing on end game tho...that movie is the product of Marvel's decade long grinding...and deserves respect... ZSJL is good if u like watching cinema and not popcorn flicks..there u go
Me neither. I think i have some sort of cgi-blindess, which is quite a blessing probably in this day and age of cinema, if all these negative-cgi comments are anything to go on.
I'm just confused why older special effects got a pass when they looked about a thousand times faker. The animatronics looked real, but puppets, costumes, ect, no.
This movie was garbage compared to what it could've been. I know DC isn't Marvel, but one thing Marvel brilliantly executed was that they built up the hype for years, while DC just threw a bunch of popular characters together because they know it will sell and to compete with Marvel, who've been building their MCU Empire for a decade now. WW was the only GREAT DC movie since The Dark Knight Rises, and now because they were so rushed to put a JL Movie out and crammed a bunch of characters we did not get to get to connect with prior, they need to just start from scratch with the exception of WW, Superman, and Aquaman. If not, they're only digging this grave of disconnect deeper and deeper.
Dark Knight Rises was crap, and it's over 90%. Critics love DC movies to the point where anything decent (86% for Superman Returns, a decent movie) gets treated like the greatest film of all time. Just to clarify, Dark Knight Rises is crap for a Batman movie, and gets virtually every character wrong from the perspective of the comics, it is a decent crime drama dragged down by those annoying voices for "Batman" and "Bane" (the quotes because they are Batman and Bane in name only).
They really changed the power dynamic of Superman and Wonder Woman in JL. In BvS Wonder Woman is on equal grounds against Doomsday with Superman, they both have an equally hard time defeating him. Yet she’s almost powerless against Stepinwolf which Superman literary slaughters in 1 minuet. Something doesn’t add up here
Yea, but they changed it. That is another problem DC has, consistency. If they wanted WW to be as strong as Supes than make her that strong and keep it.
PhobosDynami No.. they didnt change anything.. WW didnt fight Doomsday with her fist she used her sword and bracelet.. and she didnt really beat Doomsday either she was also having a hard time beating him she just managed to cuts his arm off which is different because Stepp knows how to fight not like Doomsday.. if it wasnt for Superman, Wonderwoman is the one whos gonna get stab in the chest by Doomsday
@@jetpackblues9193 ur telling me hawk girl is more popular than cyborg? Lmao. And the popular ones dont necessarily have to be there immediately. Batman superman WW flash and GL are the necessity IMO. Tho this didnt have GL
@@jetpackblues9193 I sort of agree that Cyborg shouldn't be JL. He should stay TT. But most ppl would know cyborg from teen titans rather than hawk girl
@@payelghosh1479 what a friendly inquiry, fellow person. I mean that there's no guarantee the Snyder Cut will be better. It doesn't even exist yet. Also it's so hyped up, it's gonna be extremely hard to not disappoint people. I'd be happy to see a good version of this. But I also doubt how much can be done. We'll see, when it's there :)
@@schattentaenzerin don't think negatively, it could also live up to the hype, you know. And the bar is set really low after Josstice League and Birds of preying feminazis
This trailer is one hell of a masterpiece. I loved the CGI jokes, I loved the end of the beginning quote and I enjoyed the post credit scene haha Speeder Parker rotfl
"But when the best comic characters ever unite for a movie that's just okay, YA BLEW IT! AGAIN!" Nailed it. I actually enjoyed Justice League, but it could have been SO much better as JL story and film. Shame it did fail, 'cause I did really like the main cast. Also, lol at "Mike Pence".
It couldn't have just been better. It should've been better. We as fans deserve better. If goddamn marvel can do it, theres no excuses for them not doing better.
A true fan will always love anything DC makes like me i loved all the movies all the animation and i just love every thing about dc i get hyped when i see anything with a dc logo in it
Raptle a true fan doesn’t have to enjoy everything put out under the same banner, especially when the characters and worlds can seem almost unrecognizable. I’m glad you still enjoy them all but a lot of DC fans just feel let down and underwhelmed. That said Aquaman and Shazam were pretty great so maybe they’re on the upswing.
DC fucked up by rushing into Justice League, should have had solo films for these characters before bringing them together. Could you imagine if right after Iron Man 1 marvel rolled out the Avengers.
Marvel's order of movies if they were the DCEU: 1. Iron Man 2. Captain America: Civil War 3. Guardians of the Galaxy 4. Captain America: The First Avenger (Cap remembers his past) 5: Avengers: Infinity War
Dumb comparison,Ironman was the MCU's first movie of course if they jumped from that to Avengers it would've been dumb.DCU had about 4 movies pre -Justice League. Also,no one complained about the fact that a few of the Avengers characters didn't have solo movies pre the Avengers movie...if you didn't like the movie its your opinion but don't spout BS because you can't give a valid reason why the movie was lackluster.
This Mercenary who didn’t have a solo film Hawkeye? Cuz black widow was in ironman 2 all then were in atlast one film befor avanegers so we knew who they were this movie introduced aquaman flash and cyborg and didn’t give them enough time to show us who they were also bats and sups arched like they were old friends screen time between both films they been enemies more then friends
Team Kayos Black Widow and Hawkeye, who were the only Avengers without a solo film, were pretty much just generic spies. I mean, they might as well call it “Mission Possi-I mean, Mini Avengers: Part 1 of 1”
MR. BORN IN THE USA! we should just pretend it didn't happen... or hope that at least they have enough brains to drop trilogy mark and make two more movies instead of one, where first would be needed just to fix everything:D
MR. BORN IN THE USA! Too late, too risky. Better have two movies and let Kylo somehow raise the suspense as a villain in the first one. Yeah, sounds crazy, I know. But ending it in one film would be a disaster now and we have no other villain. Except maybe Rey... oh, wait, that possibility was dropped:D
I don't know how you guys feel bvs was worse than this. The ultimate edition is one of my favourite films while justice league is one of the poorest follow ups in a franchise. All I hope is to see zack's true justice league
Was anyone else really frustrated with Batman cracking jokes so much? I get joss came in and made it more lighthearted, and it worked with characters like flash, but whenever Batman tried to say anything funny, I just cringed
Mr. Sir yeah the jokes on batman was not funny. Its just it doesn't fit at all with the character. Batman suppose to be serious man, unless he knows how to make a joke without breaking his character
Mr. Sir They did Batman a lot better, like a lot better in BvS. He was the reason I liked that movie and them not doing his character justice was why I didn't like this one. If this is the direction they wanna take him in for future movies, Affleck really should leave
Hafidz Zakaria I completely agree. Him being serious is literally a part of his character and in my opinion helps set him apart from everyone else. Whenever he made a joke as Bruce or Batman, it just kinda took me out of the movie because that's not the kinda stuff he does
Shourya Sodhani exactly!! Especially since they made him so dark and brooding in BvS (which I actually thought worked really well and Affleck did a fantastic job with it) it was even worse they made him do almost a 180 with justice league. It's almost not even the same character as the movie before, like have a little consistency please. If they wanna make Batman more comical, fine. I don't agree with but whatever. But once you've already developed a character one way, you can't completely change them and expect people to go with it
It worked at times, but mostly only as Bruce Wayne. He’s supposed to have broken the killrage from most of the last movie and so been not so grr. But some of the Batman stuff felt way out of character. If you want to know a good reason why Affleck isn’t sure about continuing, look at what the studio turned him into.
Or they could just be regular deleted scenes like every movie has that get removed for various reasons (pacing problems, continuity errors, etc). Trailer companies have done this same thing before of using cool-looking shots in trailers before the movie is even close to finished, and a lot of those scenes can potentially be deleted at any point in the production. Doesn't prove that there's an entire Zack Snyder cut of the movie. For all we know Snyder could've already scrapped those scenes. Or maybe even filmed them purely for the trailers, thus making them somewhat pointless and disposable in the final movie. Wouldn't be the first time Zack's done something like that in this franchise.
Pete Elite Many of us believe that Wheedon made it even worse that the synder cut. And the only way to prove that is to watch the Snyder cut, which is not available now...
How did Warner Bros mess up the biggest hero’s ever? The Justice League was the biggest parts of every 2000’s kids childhood if you watched the show that fit more character development into 22 minuets than a 2 hour movie. I loved the movie in the theater because of nostalgia but looking back it was just ok. How Warner Bros? FREAKING HOW?!
Cause Snyder, actually, that budget cut. It felt like 2000's CGi. The CGi was really outdated. If they couldn't deliver a good CGi they should of gone with suits for everyone. It would of make more sense.
Killer Instincts gaming Because the people writing the animated stuff actually give a fuck about doing these heroes justice. Something tells me that's not the case in the WB board room.
Since when was Cyborg ever one of "their biggest hero's" I never got why DC tries so hard to make him a founding member of justice league when never was a founding member.
yeah the dceu is not over bvs made plenty of money whether or not it sucked so did JL so weither or not you didnt like it i liked both they will keep making movies
Hmm for me though from the sources i read. Zack had plans for DCEU, of course starting with MoS, after that he planned an MoS2, but WB wanted to catch up with marvel. Instead, they ended up woth BvS. For me though, so what if they're behind or if they are worried if they might forget the characters. The DC universe will always be remembered with there iconic characters. They should have took their time and planned it well. Just saying LoL.
As a DC fan...this is a let down on so many levels...gotta live with what we get...or should we? Not if one of us goes on to becoming a film maker with enough leverage to make WB listen to one of us. ALso...cyborg...the mashed up aluminum foil with a laser pointer in the middle...lmao
B.B.K #31Hunnit #FumblenForcer #Slamin'Nat,Gavel the dc live action movies are all so disappointing. Their animated movies are amazing and so are their animated shows. If they made similar live action movies with more character set up, it would be amazing
buuuurn... hahaha get it? burnt?... because... because vader got burnt... and... you roasted him?... did ya get it? didja?... hum... i'll be leaving now... *runs away very very fast.*
They really are the best comic characters ever and its not even close, the fact that marvel can take B list super heroes like Iron Man and make him a house hold name just shows that DC needs go get a reboot because its not doing the source material justice
If Iron man is B list then Guardians of the Galaxy was C list I knew many comic fans that definitely knew of Tony Stark but knew next to nothing of Groot or Rocket Raccoon.
