Oh my gosh, her sweet shout out "Momma!" at the end is so precious! I don't agree with the whole baby modeling but she obviously loves her momma and it seems like her mom really wants her to be happy.
It sad to see our people do these things, but this is what the world is coming too! I would be scared that my child would grow up mad at me cuz I sold her soul for money and fame.

0:45 you see a really happy kid... My heart burst with a kind of joy. She's so innocent and so happy... Some people are quick to judge others because they live differently. But hey, they're happy, and it looks like they have a loving, albeit hedonistic family. Maybe they just like enjoying every minute of their lives, why is it such a bother to most of you? Jeezz. I'm glad that kid is confident and doesn't have hang ups.
I love honey boo boo, she is super cute. Honey Boo Boo's mom can't please everyone. No one is ever going to completely agree with someone else's parenting techniques. I wish the best for Alana and her family.
I love Honey Boo Boo and the show is wonderful. All of you haters out there should be a shame of yourselves. We have the North and the South. Honey Boo Boo and her family is from the area of our United States in which we see the family such as the Honey Boo Mom and dad continue to support Honey Boo Boo...she is your little born blessing to the family.
Ppl need to stop talkin shit about this little girl she's a child that actually enjoys these pageants and her family loves her. Rich and proper parenting doesn't always make u the best parent but the love of a family does and Alana has plenty I'm sure shell be an awesome young lady with a hell of great sense of humor :)
I actually think she seems to be such a great supportive mom. You can see how much she loves her daughter. And if you watch her show you see how sweet, patient ,and genuine she is. I support you Honey boo boo child you are a sweet girl:)
She is one of the happiest and most secure children I've seen... yes she's overweight, but she's not letting it hold her back or define what she wants to do. I bet that she dragged her mom to the pageant, certainly not the other way around.
If you have actually seen other videos of Alana, it is obvious this is not child abuse, she loves doing pageants and her mother has stated before that if she doesn't wish to carry on she will not make her do them. On the other hand a lot of other pageant girls could be classed as being abused, since they are forced or they do not wish to do it.
Stop hating! This little girl has self esteem and is kind and gives a reaction that most people die for.. appreciation! She is very well adjusted to this world and loves her mother. If you watch the show, you will take your blinders off and see. The only thing I agree with is that mom should not be letting her daughters eat 2 much and they should all get on a healthier diet.. maybe they can splurge on southern food on the weekends. Otherwise, I see nothing but love and fun in this family. oo.
OK besides the fact that the mom is setting her daughters life up for a huge embarrassment, the part when she screams MOMMA! when dr drew gives her tha tiara was really adorable. You could tell that it meant EVERYTHING to her (: poor girl tho. its not her fault, its tha moms fault for not having a clue.
My mother used to show off my tummy when I was that young. I never wanted to though. The point is, that little girl loves to perform and she has great self-esteem. I know I could use that kind of self-esteem.
Abuse can come in a variety of forms, not just 'physical' abuse, which many people make the assumption is THE definition of abuse. Encouraging/providing a child with food or drink which can cause health problems (which in the case of that gogo juice may include diabetes, weight gain, tooth decay, hyper activity... etc) IS abuse.
I agree with all the comments below wrt the waste of time for children to be put in pageants, but she looked so adorably happy when he gives her the crown and sash. "Mama!"
