Welcome To Survival-Russia. One of the very best Outdoors and Survival related communities on RU-vid, and yes, It's a pretty good Channel too.
My name is Lars. I'm From Denmark but I live in Rural Russia now. I live at a Homestead in wild nature surrounded by a huge forest.
On The Survival-Russia channel we do all things related to the Outdoors Lifestyle. I share my thoughts and experiences on Survival Techniques for the woodlands of the Northern Hemisphere. the Reality of Survival. I share Techniques and ways of the Siberian Tribesmen and the Russian Longhunters of the older days. Things not shown outside of Russia very much.
On this Channel we also do Off-Road driving, Vehicle builds, Metal Detecting, all things Outdoors basically. Enjoy!

The early North American pioneers didn't have McDonald's or Burger King. Their fast-food was to make several kilograms of baked beans and sourdough bread. When they stopped to rest the mules, they would take out the giant beanpot and have a hot lunch in half an hour. They could be on their way again. It was good to have extras when native guests stopped in for dinner.

Great idea SHONA SHONA! I spent some time in Texas and we love our Bush's Baked Beans. I also like the idea of mixing different varieties of canned beans. Got elbow macaroni? Pre-cook and add that. What NEVER worked for me was to cook my own beans from dried beans. I WISH, but my skills never went there. I am grateful for Bush's.

I am glad to have an oven video to respond to. I realize you don't understand the physics, you understand use, but are there fireplace repair people you could interview who could show us? I would like an explanation of the physics of how the oven works. The key point is the first video, where you showed getting hot air started, to cause the oven to draft, before setting the fire. Also, that it burns in Winter for 8 hours, but keeps the house warm all night. Also, the routing of the chimney through rooms, to keep those rooms warm.

Loved the Oh! Shit, moment with the camera. I don't think that you burnt the bread, it looked more like a plastic coating. Seriously Lars, great video for all of us in lockdown, or lockup perhaps, and yet my vote goes for Gallina in the great Russian Bake Off for her skills in handling the oven pitchfork and the lack of asbestos gloves when handling her pans. The beans, on the other hand, would have got my vote as a dish, so both videos end up as a draw, for the Survival Russia crowd that is.
