This was very helpful! I do have a question though. I think I saw in the payment process that you could change the number of sessions per payment. So could I have a client make a payment for every two sessions and then the scheduler would only let them schedule the next two sessions until they made to next payment? My package would be set up: 3 payments for 6 sessions/ 6 payments for 12 sessions

Great question! So for the new "service based scheduling" your client can only schedule one session at a time. So they would need to book and pay for every individual session. Here is a help article: help.honeybook.com/en/articles/8891130-adding-services-with-scheduling

Can you help me understand something about honeybook bookings? For instance, if I only want to be booked on saturday once by one 1 client only, how can I make it so that there's only 1 slot available on my scheduler with the time frame opened from 9am-10pm? I've tried opening my schedule from 9am-10pm but there's so many slots for other clients to choose from. I only want it where 9am-10pm is 1 session. I have changed the duration but that also conflicts with my scheduler on Fridays.

Great question! So unfortunately right now on schedulers there is no way to close a scheduler when X amount of sessions is booked. You will just have to manually remove that day's availability once someone books it. Hoping we see this in the future 🙏🏼.

So glad it was helpful! :) Currently, there is no way that it can be set up for multiple people to sign up for one session like a class style.

You can use a lead form! Lead forms are essentially a public smart file so you can send someone the file without them having an active project.

Is there anyway to have clients select a time range for their session? Say a photographer that charges an hourly rate for example.

Yes! There is a way you can accomplish this with HoneyBook's new "Service Based Scheduling". How you could do this is set it up through a Lead Form, where you have a few schedulers for the session times you want them to choose from, say 30, 60, 90 mins. Then you can set those options in the services block. I set everything up but when I share schedule link it allows them to book without paying. Did I miss something ?

is there a way to have my scheduler only allow clients to do 4:00pm for a session instead of a time-range?

Yup! However long your sessions are (for example 1 hour) you would just put your availability as 4-5
