I lost my best friend 10 years ago, and talking to her mom has been one of the hardest things to face. Brianna was 7 months pregnant and her 1 year old also passed away. I finally faced it and when to go see her. It was tough but I do feel like Brianna would also want me to check-in. I agree that the pain will always remain, but the memories are remain in my heart. Thank you for the vulnerability and having the real conversations. I needed this. ❤

I think this one hit a lot of us in a different way. Thanks for helping her process this and give her good ideas to continue to process, Ryan. When I had my friends suicide closed casket funeral to attend at age 15 my father thought it was necessary to slam my door open and nearly yell "your door stays open when people are here". Sure wish I had you my man. We all have to grow though and in its own way this helped me process some of my losses. Thanks again.

We have a lot in common. I'm so scared of death, anxiety. I got in a horrible car accident so since then just life has been weird. Then seeing my dad pass away so suddenly. My anxiety is just a whole nother level. My family thinks I'm making a bigger deal or need to get over it so I hide a lot. Thanks paige I feel less alone, less weird.. just thank you.

I had several deaths all clumped together when I was a kid, and a couple of them were suicide of people close to me, or close to my loved ones. I’m about the same age as Paige and I feel like this is the age where you truly do start to question things and find a more stable path in life as you get answers. The last couple of years have been really transformative for me, and for me personally, therapy helped, but didn’t add as much value as I’d hoped. Keep searching, Paige. Try therapy, try different things. Eventually something will click and you’ll find ways of navigating this world you didn’t know were possible. You are so bright and talented, and there’s a thirst for knowledge and understanding in you! ❤

Thank you for sharing your story about your best friend. I lost mine at 19 (I'm 30 now) and I felt and still feel the same way about a lot of things you had mentioned. I hope you find the courage to reach out to her family.

I would absolutely love to sit down and have a completely candid convo with Ryan off camera. He asks all the questions I'm too scared to answer when my loved ones ask me but I have that feeling I'd be so damn comfortable saying it all to Ryan. Such an odd feeling I can't really explain but my gosh it would be rad.

I felt this. My best friend hung himself. He was a Marine. He never got the help he needed. I think about him everyday. We'd been best friends since we were 5. It's super tuff to think about. The police took the note he left. So I never knew what was on there. I she's a tear listening to this.

There is a place near me in England called Beachy Head which is a "famous" cliff that people commit suicide at. It's a beautiful spot and a lot of the time you will see people standing there waiting to talk people out of jumping. It's very sad.

Hi there, my boyfriend unfortunately took his life Dec 19, 2021 and I found him and was with him all day the day of. There aren’t necessarily “signs” you see until after. It could be weird things they did or said but at the time seemed like a “normal” type of weird. Most of his seemed like signs of going through our 20’s and learning how to adult. He had two notes written, one from a month prior that I had no idea about. I’m so sorry for your losses, just know that their suffering is over and they are with us forever

I lost all 4 of my grandparents, my husband and both my parents. I'm so use to getting the death news.. I have alot of anxiety around death. It's the unknown that's scary. Therapy helps alot but knowing the details help me. Also just living my life to the fullest

I live in the area. I know multiple people who have killed themselves. Uintah basin definitely ruins lives. Glad she was able to escape suicide basin

I had a Best Friend growing up than we lost touch when I moved! I found her sister on FB and she said she had just died and it was wild hearing from me Said Lindy(her sister) had a Son that she was raising but wouldnt tell me anything else and never msg me again! I have always wondered what happened and Im 60! now!
