Just to clarify... a weed is an _unwanted_ plant. If you don't like any or particular trees, shrubs, flowers or even vegetables growing in your territory, be that garden, estate, etc, then, to your personal view, you classify it as a weed. It's worth remembering that many plants commonly referred to as *weeds* are highly prized by others that have knowledge of their medicinal or cosmetic properties. Just saying. Lol.

Lol I accidentally planted the "right" one. Gotta love responsible local nurseries. I can literally buy anything there an know it's local or not invasive to my area. Can't say the same for big blue or orange. They simply don't care.
We planted coral honeysuckle for the hummingbirds three years ago. It did quite well until this year, and seems to be suffering in spite of fertilizing and watering. Part has become stringy, viney and almost like it's dying, even though there is new brilliant green growth starting from the base. I didn't realize it was a plant that would need special care, but apparently I need to trim out a bunch of old growth and put the new growth on the trellis. I have no idea what to cut or the best approach. Help. I can sent a photo if needed. Thanks

Dont think so. They are in my local nursery and while very pretty are neutral fragrant as far as I can tell. I chose instead a yellow/white variety called Scentsation which do provide a sweet fragrance. You have waited 3 years for an answer. You have the patience of Job.

Not so. A sharp edged spade, cutting at a very slight angle towards the centre of the plant, curtails it's enthusiastic expansion plans. Be careful, however, not to cut totally into the centre, as you risk damaging the tap root. The aim is to limit the feeder roots from creeping below the soil's surface, so it grows in isolation.
Thanks for your video, but you never mentioned if the red berries are edible or poisonous to humans, I have 1000's of the red berries on bushes, i'd like to make jam with them, but need to know if they are safe to eat, could you check on this for me, i'm not seeing much online about this at all, thank you.
