I just had a capacitor go bad on my garage door opener. I googled the problem and low and behold there was a review from Amazon that identified my exact problem and for $20 I had my garage door opener working again. Pretty simple fix. I like your tester Lloyd, just don't have that much of a need for one, but it would come in handy to identify a bad one.
