For instance, it's perfectly ok to fine homeless people for rough sleeping because a lot of them have good jobs in finance and therefore it's a "lifestyle choice"... Wragg had two options- go to the police and explain he’s being blackmailed or drag colleagues into the clutches of a clearly nefarious individual or organisation, he went for the latter. He should face charges for his actions.

I am afraid I absolutely no sympathy for Mr Wragg. To be generous, he was naive in the extreme, as an MP, in communicating with a stranger via an app. It is unforgivable that, when threatened with exposure via 'compromat' (which, I presume, was not his official portrait) he tried to save his own reputation by throwing colleagues and perhaps others to the wolves.

So, what was the mode of communication? Did Wragg give the ‘’Unknown Person Ani/Charlie’’ the phone numbers of his MP mates directly from Wraggs contact list on his personal/official phone? Or did he give the number of this supposed perp, the WhatsApp number that is, to his MP mates who then chose individually whether they wished to contact the perp personally themselves? The process is important to define the crime and subsequent charges if any.
