Nice video and sweet stone. Always found the post annoying when they claimed bevel set straight to a set or 2 of diamond nagura as all that was needed for a good edge. Cheers

Thankfully, I don't have to shave with their edges. Thank you for watching and commenting! Happy Honing!

Great video, and a great stone wish I could play with that. Going to hone 1 of my koraat this week ( had a eye surgery 3 weeks ago so couldn't hone) but yesterday shaved off a 5 week old beard with a Herder with 1 pass ( nothing beats a well honened straight) but it was nice to see what you are shaving instaed of feeling it ( went from minus 8,5 prescription to 2 and had a glaucoma implant) so that's a very different kind of shave Keep your video's coming Always a highlight of the week, thanks Keith

Hello Keith! Thanks for the video, I like your voice! I came here to ask something. I recently found photographs of 9/11 that were captioned "Keith V. Johnson". I thought I'd ask if you took any 9/11 Photos, or if this caption belongs to someone with the same name as you? Regards to you 🙂

@@KeithVJohnson1 Thanks for the answer! I have another question: can I see your photographs of September 11th in good quality? I remembered the good quality of the photographs, so I realized that it was film. I will not use them for any commercial purposes, I was just very interested in your material. I will also not publish them anywhere.

@tima-mr_lindex264 I do not send those pix out for viewing. The images on Reddit are there without my permission and should be removed.

@@KeithVJohnson1 Oh, too bad. What subreddit are you talking about? Did you take the images with a digital or film camera? What I found are several digital images. I take it there are no other ways to view your images?

Presently, my 9/11 images are not on display anywhere. Not sure which SR it is to be honest. I used film and digital for the 9/11 images.

Nice botan, Keith. Related what you said, I recently saw here on RU-vid two guys into this minimal honing, both with Jnats. One of them did like a few strokes on each step and then, at then end, you could easily still see the previous edge. Then he shaved and claimed the steel was crap, so he returned the razor and claimed the company makes low quality razors. Second guy was into counting laps. Doing 13 laps was not enough, 14 was the sweet spot and 20 was far too much. When I heard that, I had no clue if I should laugh or cry. Anyway, your video was good as usual. Have a good day!

Yeah, there's a lotta confused people making honing videos these days. It's easy to see the poseurs though! Happy honing and happy shaves!

Yeah, it's a looker for sure, ty! Gotta make the slurry do what you need it to do. It's not gonna do it on it's own. Happy Honing!
