Honkai Star Rail is like Genshin Impact but different because it has a different name. Also no Paimon Merch: ramzaes.creator-spring.com Patreon: / ramzaes Twitter: / ramzaes7
I wish genshin had the same type of comedy (but I guess it wouldn't fit the setting of the game). Unfortunately, I don't think I'll catch paimon calling me a cringe nae nae baby.
genshin pick what ever choise you have and the next dialog will still same, whats the point is that. but HSR actually have different reaction and get voiced. Genshin actually can pull this kind of joke in side quest honestly. also the QoL HSR has is what any genshin player been voicing. its like change element without visit the 7 statue, molding an artefact, improvement on resin and regeneration, and more end game fiture that ignore "anxiety hu hu hu" part ps: its like HSR ream actually reading Genshin player complain and insert and take them in their game.
@Kindi001 I'm not reading all of that. Bur know that Genshin's strong suit isn't dialogue, but rather the eldritch horrors in lore and storytelling. Would be nice to have better dialogue tho
@@Snorlaxsnaxx TL;DR Star Rail characters respond to your dialog choices unlike Genshin. Star Rail has QoL changes people have been asking Genshin to have for ages.
I feel genuine pain everytime i hear something like this, a friend of mine, who was a genshin player, started playing HI3rd and he was like this in the very start, but lets say he changed his mind after experiencing HI3rd for a while
It's Genshin made by the Honkai team, which is already a huge deal to begin with. Honkai team is waaaay more transparent and in-tune with the community than the Genshin team ever was.
in regards to the main characters viability, they are much better than genshin's protag character consistently which is actually pretty nice all things considered since they could have just been the worst character to use
When every JRPG is trying to add complexity through giving you two dozen active skills and abilities, I’m kind of impressed that this game’s combat feels so complex by every character just having one active skill and one ultimate and that’s it. That’s your character. Depth through limitation is great when it’s done this well. I love finding character combos that just feel busted. I never clicked with Genshin Impact and yet somehow I’m absolutely loving Honkai Star Rail.
I mean genshin is genuinely bigger than honkai impact. More people will relate to the silver wolf to amber thing than a honkai impact one. I don't know anything about honkai impact. Just played genshin and tried honkai star rail. I'm assuming a decent chunk of people are probably in the same boat.
Gotta be one of your best videos yet. The editing and script were on point, made me laugh out loud on multiple occasions. I've never even played Genshin and I normally don't play gacha games, but this video was such good marketing I kinda want to play this game now. They should totally be paying you for this!
If you look closely at the tier list he showed, it does reflect that. Ramzaes understandably probably thinks they are two different units, but the placements honestly seem about right. I just hope he realizes that you need to bring the MC for bosses.
Most tier lists are going to be inaccurate when a game is so new, or the person who made them is bad. People thought Beidou was bad when the game was new and still thought she was only B tier like a year after Genshin came out.
Technically its two different `free` units and in ALOT of mobile games they never really `upgrade` the default freebie unit or main-character-kun till the game has gone a year or more in and they just huck you an ACTUAL gacha-only 5 star variant, with it being a rare case you get improvements on the original unit itself. ...But even when you see `improvements` on said character, in most of those cases, its simply to use them as the introductory slave to a new system with a bunch of other units getting it also and getting way more mileage. Plus lets be real, in terms of content unlocking and progression, it takes ALOT of hours and speed running, including making use of some of those huge piles of trailblazer energy capsules they huck at you at the start to `nudge you to use it` and get you level grinding past alot of those level requirement thresholds....just so you can get to the `end` of the first planet`s boss, going thru half a dozen or so areas, not counting any side questing like simulated universe and the space station. Which your still unlocking more systems that your gonna have to get yourself NUDGED INTO, so you can upgrade your units, instead of running with rather sub-par stats.
It looked like he didn't even pull on the beginner banner which costs less and guarantees a 5 star in 50(which is even lower than soft pity at 76) You also get 40 free standard pulls as you level up, so theres no reason to spend crystals on standard pulls.
@@IveBeenWithBruma no because i mean as a casual prob whatd youd enjoy but as a person who understands gacha you know rolling on limited always is way better than spending anyhing on normal banner aside from freebies
Actually, it's NOT from the same team as genshin, it's also the 4 installment in the Honkai series so it's not another genshin, although yes they made a pretty much identical UI Edit: I know he corrected himself of the " it's the same team and same characters comment, I just wanted to clarify anything
Everyone that knows and loves Honkai.... HIMEKOOOOOO ToT. Our girl is soooo beautiful in her new design..... or is it the old one? What even is the timeline anymore? A great an funny commentary as usual. ^^
Ive been bribed with the girl with a robot jotraro stand, mommy zhongli ult and scythe yuri, so yes, I am enjoying the game. Though kinda seriously, I do enjoy the game, definitely very polished, as is standard for hyv, the combat is complex enough (and break does remind me of octopath traveler but with a library of ruina bar), and while hyv is on the stingier side when it comes to currency distribution, guaranteeing pity is always great. (and i'll be saving for kafka anyway, which will be a fair amount of time)
ahh nice to see another project moon fan. Also speaking of project moon games, why are their tutorials so horrible😅ig the only way to properly play pm games is to find out yourself how everything works
I mean, mihoyo is basically two separate entities when we talk about their games, we have the good side with Honkai Impact (a hack n slash game released before Genshin, following basically a universe reset from a previous game) and the Genshin Mihoyo, which we know for some bad shit I've been playing Honkai since 2017 i believe, and that game feels unfair of how f2p friendly it is, it feels wrong sometimes, like, when the Herrscher of Reason (AKA Archon of reason, for the genshin folks) was released, i, without pity, got her in less than 10 pulls, an the same repeats with other units and with my friends who play the game, the "artefact" system of this game is also pretty generous (you can farm and roll for better stigmas, but even the F2P options, which are free and easier to get, are also pretty good) and you don't need to farm entire months to get one piece to be barely good enough. I just wonder why the diff between both sides, idk, maybe it's managment
@@meiden7620 At the most it was hilariously dumb tbh, yeah it was kinda bad but it's not that triggering especially since he still managed to make the vid funny as always
I mean going by the logic it would be like honkai 5? (if you count genshin in, but idk, u do u), also were would be the "honkai second"? i know about GGZ, which should be the number 1
im so lucky i got the 2 characters i wanted, bailu and clara !! i lost my 50/50 on the seele banner for bailu and i was actually so happy bc i didnt really want seele just needed a 5 star for early game and then got clara on the standard banner :)
Just a tip if you wanna keep playing the game, only buy the yellow gacha currency, when the 5 star changes the featured 4 stars do too so you will have a very high chance to get the fox girl
Try playing Honkai Impact 3rd. Such a great game with a great story. Sadly the gacha aspects of it sucks, but you can unlock the welfares that are viable even in endgame.
At the start of the game, Kafka shoves the Stelleron into the MC's body, tells you to fully commit to your decisions, leaves to go buy milk, and refuses to elaborate further. WRITING!
Honestly I don’t even think the rates are that bad. Either that or I’m extremly lucky. In around 30 pulls I got seele twice and her wepon and I checked the rates and the rates were boosted so
Yeah your luck is insane, idek how you managed to do that with a 0.3% chance of getting her once? Honestly it's hard to believe that you aren’t aware and just bragging lmao
@@qazwsx014jsbd8 I mean when I played genshin I had shit luck couldn’t even get a 5 star without the game handing it to me so I just assumed the rates were fucking nuts because the game just started.
Damn it! Why this game gotta look actually fun?! At least Genshin Impact felt uninspired with its game mechanics and had dialogue so cringe I nearly died every time I got an ad with one of the character trailers!! I could actually ignore it! This game’s dialogue feels more intentionally bad, sarcastic, and occasionally good. Why do both these Gatcha games gotta look and sound so DAMN PRETTY tho?! Now I gotta at least try it thanks to this video! 😭
Been seeing a lot of people shitting on Gepard and it makes me sad that people don't understand his potential. Gepard is an endgame content god and he deserves to be top tier (at least for now until a better tank comes along.) For example, in normal content my Gepard shields for about 1600. That is already overpowered for anything Main Story Quest will throw at you. In Simulated Universe, it reaches around 2200. But Simulated Universe also has Blessings, and these are what allows him to really outclass many units. At some point you unlock Quake Blessings. What these are, are basically a Retaliate skill that hits the enemy back when they hit you. And the power of this Blessing is determined by the strength of your shields. Every time the enemy hit me, they were taking 20,000+ damage back in return for EVERY SINGLE HIT. They were literally killing themselves without me needing to attack them myself. This is how I beat Simulated World, including World 6 at level 50. I hope this has enlightened you, and whoever else reads this, why even a one-note Tank like Gepard can be top tier (for now).
@@saintfayde4438 I see your points, because I got him E1 in starter banner and enjoy playing with him a lot (E1 90% Freeze) it's just odd that he got different tiers from everyone probably because the MC is also a good tank. I really think he is underappreciated compared to other unit who's stay at top tier regardless of who makes the tier list (sorry for my bad English)
@@rio3702 Something you have to remember is that most people are going to be biased and not pay much attention to a character that isn't doing the big damage, or anything obviously crazy like Bronya bumping turns or Tingyun giving energy. Gepard is basically just there to do one thing - shield your team. And at the time everyone made their tier lists, 90% of players weren't at the endgame content where his values really shine through. Basically, the tier list discrepancies just boil down to general public ignorance and bad timing.
This is an accurate representation of when a Genshin player doesn’t know Honkai Impact 3rd exists and tries to start comparing characters that are older than Genshin to Genshin characters. Funny video still
problem is, the artstyle, the world, the lore and basicly everything about this game is speaking to my tastes.... but i dont have the time to play a 3rd gacha game like genshin T_T
Since your love for turn based games has been reignited let me jump on the opportunity to recommend you play "The Legend of Heroes: Trails of..." series. Just trust me, bro, you'll love it. Starts at Trails in the Sky 1-3, then Zero and Azure, then Cold Steel. Or you can start with Trails of Cold Steel 1-2 and go back for the rest before playing 3-4 if the retro-ness of Sky is a turn off like it was for me at first. Either way, I assure you that you'll have a fantastic time with the series (and plenty of content for the channel too)
You're really recommending Trails? He barely could sit and read the random books you find lying around here (albeit understandable) but you expect him to play thru all of those games in order to catch up on the story? That's a hard sell lmao and I love turn based jrpgs.
@@Rex13013 If he can sit through Persona, Xenoblade, and freakin ACE ATTORNEY, then there's no reason to believe that he would dip out on Trails due to heavy dialogue. L take, my guy.
@@saintfayde4438 Dude I'm just pointing the obvious out, calm down. If he ends up playing the games thats fine, it doesn't bother me but the Trails games are definitely more text heavy lol, also Xenoblade has only 3 games, Persona 3 games (if you don't count the first 2 and i can't speak for Ace attorney but I know about it so I'll give you that one. Idk why is such an "L take" when starting that series now is obviously daunting
@@Rex13013 Nobody said he had to play through them all. The only reason I listed the order is so that if he does play it, and he does like it, then he knows which game is next on the list canonically. Things can get confusing when you don't just have a string of increasing numbers to tell you what the next installment is. As for why it was an L take, you're comparing playing through an engaging, well-written and most importantly, interesting story designed to be the main event, to reading a bunch of random bullshit log entries that are side content mostly inconsequential to the plot and that only the most hardcore Honkai fans would even care to look at.
@@saintfayde4438 It wasn't my intention to compare those two things quality wise, I was comparing them in terms of the amount of text and stuff, it was an example.
