the funniest thing about the fog going over inaba, is that in ultimax they say that the fog doesn't even spread it just stays in inaba and even izunami say she just has enough power to do inaba. So when people are saying the world is ending it comes off has hilarious cause if they left inaba they'd be like "oh"
For real? So this whole thing was not even THAT important? Damn, in P3 the entire world would have had a reset and in P5 it merged with Mementos twice.
@@PaladinfffLeeroy ell I mean it was important to the people living in inaba. But just not on the scale of P3 cause Minato is super powerful I think he's like the first one to get was it the world or universe arcana. And he definitely rewrote time, had to cause people were just turning into shadows in the streets and attacking people. Had to otherwise the world would be damned. All P4 had to do was remove the fog cause there wasn't too much damage to the town.
@@PaladinfffLeeroy Don't know about P5 but Izunami says Inaba is more of a testing thing, they would spread over time. It just wouldn't be the immediate, everything ends like P3.
I had a brainfart where the order that characters joined your party (letting Teddie finally use his unused Naoto lines) were based on your choices and this system would also influence who would be the killer. Might be possible, but I don't think the Ps2 and the DVD format can handle that much more content.
Fun fact! Marie has the same voice actress as Hifumi Togo from Persona 5. The shogi girl. That range had me totally fooled. As a bonus here's something VERY creepy. Nanako and Izanami share the same voice actress. *Shivers*
Did people actually hate/dislike yosuke? I actually felt like we needed a comedy relief/buddy character like him in 5 Morgana comes close but it never felt like a connect Yusuke feels like a literal brother xd
Welp the thing is they decided to release the game on pc in 2020. Since two of best bois(Yosuke's my favourite ye) things are the perverted and Kanji thing...people would hate on him(tho he kinda does these things less and less when the game goes on)
@Александр Костров I mean I wasn't hating on him because of that. I am aware of why Yosuke acts the way he does but so many other people seem to make him their least favourite for that. Again, he is my favourite char personally. I can say that atleast he gets some kind of karma for his actions and is able to learn from it
@Александр Костров I'd argue Yosuke isn't actually better by the end for most of his issues, it's just that the story stops bringing them up instead of resolving them. I feel like his writing ends up all over the place and incomplete. And then all the characters end up flanderized to some extent or another in all the spinoffs that followed (partially for comedic effect and partially from neglect), so no real touching up on the missed opportunities from the main plot. It's frustrating.
@@wolfofpersia2275 I was agreeing with you. I was saying that the questions are bullshit. The use of “you” was a general one I am applying to anyone who plays the game. I was saying that the questions are so Bullshit that people wouldn’t even be able to answer them after having already completed that part of the game before.
@@joeljames2683 oh damn sorry man I thought you said I'm bullshiting , so sorry but yeah they are bullshit and back in the day there was no online guide or anything for me to look up but coming from persona 3 I knew there would be another ending and the game won't just skip days just for the sake of showing the ending so yeah I did it , it didn't take long but it was exhausting to say the least.
@@wolfofpersia2275 That's ruff. I played P4 Golden, so on top of the dialog check to get the real ending, you also have to advance Marie's social link, and she is just such pleasant company. The funny thing about her being a Mary Sue type character is that she is one of the three Sagiri, so she is actually a Marie Sagiri. Just pronounce the "a" in Sagiri like a "u" for the joke to click.
9:00 tbh when I 1st played Persona 4 (not golden) I actually got it in my 1st try and I didn't even thought of cheating my way out and when I played Golden I choosed the wrong option at the end and I was cheating (meaning that I missclicked or I missunderstood what the intructions said and clicked something else for soem reason)
I played this almost completely blind on my Vita maybe 8 years ago now. Great experience. Still needed a guide for some social links though. I could handle all the fusions and combat stuff but I had no clue how to progress some of those
Me and my brother's first playthrough we played on the same file and we actually managed to get through the hospital scene without a guide. But we did fail about 4 or 5 times first.
I played through the entire game thinking I got the true ending, but right as I was nearing the end on my second playthrough, I saw that I actually DIDN'T get the true ending. I know this is kinda weird, but I actually really like that. I mean think about it: You have a game that you really like, but you think you've seen all there is to see about it. But then you hear, either online, or from a friend that there's actually an entire dungeon that you haven't done yet. At least in my case, I was really happy that there was new content for me to experience.
11:49 right after the meme adachi said "we'll come back right after these messages" or whatever i actually got an ad and i laughed for like 20 minutes after that XD
Btw, the final battle there was no silence, its just that the song "The Genesis" has some very quiet parts cuz its an orchestra and there's like flute solo here and there
When I first played this game when it came out on steam I got the good ending on the first try. I didn't know that was impressive at the time, I just didn't wanna kill nametame
I never understood why You didn't show how he can put his hand into the house TV just like with their friends. But needs a really high social link rank with Doujima to let you show it.
I really think thats one of the biggest plot holes in the game and its only made more obvious by the fact that after nanako's condition worsens, a frustrated kanji says something like "Bring a damn tv here and we'll show ya how he's killing people!"
i've played p4 countless times since its original ps2 release and never needed a guide for the bad end segment. every option is using coded language that makes it easy to tell whats what. obviously the options to want to push him in are the options for the most direct bad ending, the options to not want to push him in on moral principle alone do not further your pursuit of the truth and therefore keep you from moving forward, but the options that this doesn't feel like the true end of the case as something feels wrong/something is missing are the ones that further unlock your ability to find the truth. when you look at each option and choose based on that logic its pretty easy to get right.
29:08 Man, I completely agree with you here. I remember while playing through the game for the first time how I'd listen to the ost on youtube. This caused the same trailer for Tohru Adachi in BBCTB to appear in my recommendations, which was essentially one step away from outright telling me Adachi was the bad guy. While this didn't really make my experience that much worse, it still annoyed me a decent bit.
Yeah, I heard in the original version of P4 on the PS2 there was even a message telling the player to not spoil the culprit's identity. But then Golden and Arena Ultimax got released and Adachi was memed so much at that point that ATLUS just said "f*ck it!" XD
Yosuke signs Chie and company up intending it as a harmless joke, thinking they could back out. Chie signs Yosuke and company up intentionally as payback fully aware that they can't back out. Yosuke is somehow worse.
Actually, it was Rise who came up with the idea, not Chie. Rise also decided that the girls shouldn't apologize for wrongfully pelting the boys with buckets. Rise might be as bad as Yosuke.
@@privateeyety5735 Ah yes, Persona 5 cast, who beat their friend up for wondering why the others are crying, in which they are crying because they think said friend is dead.
y'know surprisingly, I actually didn't have adachi spoiled for me. it's a good thing I played p4g when I did cause like, a few days after my first playthrough where I got the normal ending, I saw a storm of memes about adachi appear for me.
If I learned anything from watching this video, is that if your Social Links are at the max level when you fight Namatame, then they could hesitate to fight you. Holy cow that's cool!
I'm glad I played this game blind before all the memes and having unlimited access to the internet, because i got to experience Adachi's villain reveal as a genuine realisation, denial, and shock, after like 5 times getting the wrong ending and looking up how to get past the "shove namatame into the tv" scene
I was so close to getting the series of answers correct first try, but I messed up the very last one of the vague responses so I just gave up and used a guide lol
I literally got the first 6 answers right on my first try and then answered the third option on the last one and got the bad ending 😩 then I proceed to fuck up again like 3 times until I was so tired seeing the credits over and over again that I looked up the guide. Also I wasted so many precious times talking to every single person in Inaba with the correct order to trigger the Aiya restaurant event. Darn you JRPGs
This game is awesome. Even if I played it already knowing half of it. And played it twice. Worth it (Also winter song from P4 "Snowflakes" is the best)
I had the Chance to play that game blind like 2 years ago and the first time saw adachi I instantly said: this guy looks like a culprit. He has to be the culprit. 🤣 If you know atlus well, there's nothing much surprising in their games...😅
