I purchased both the j2kpro and the j7kpro which I received today. Bought the 7 because I thought it may play even better than the J2 with the longer handle. Would like to be considered for reimbursement. Will be adding tungsten and the hecigrip tomorrow to the 8.0 oz paddle I received. Thanks HB. BTW - I used your code for discount on both paddles and paid in 2 installments.
Thank you for your review. Honolulu Pickleball is the real deal every time I go out and play. I see Moore on the court and I’m using the J2 which I love.
I am pulling that out-of-the-box playability from the J7K. Also, the first time I tried a V7, I liked the feel a lot, so a more powerful J2K that feels similar to a V7 sounds amazing!
Thanks for the great review!! Sounds like HPC has hit another home run with these paddles! I would love to try out that J7K Pro for its power and reach! Thank you!!
I love the J2K Pro so the J7K Pro for the pop and power seems great! I have a friend transitioning from tennis to pickleball that I think this paddle would be perfect for
I been playing for a while now with a cheap paddle from an Amazon set. I think it’s time to get a better paddle and the j7k would be a great first “real” paddle to have.
Agreed that the power is there and the paddle for a transitioning tennis player like myself is a natural fit (after some weight at the throat and the side). You can get some very wicked spin with a nice last minute break (either down or to the side) on drives. I have to disagree slightly on the comparison to gear box power from my live comparison. But when I see a gearbox I just pound it straight at them to get a deflection out. With the J7K pro it’s only slightly less powerful but way more ability to maneuver blocks and counter-strikes. I’ve had some Joola players try it and they’ve had nothing but good compliments and one even ordered a J7K after trying it in an open-play session. Keep up the great work 808!
I've been playing with the J2K Pro recently and I'm liking it. For these, I'll go for the J7K with the 6 inch handle with slightly lesser power for a paddle to use for a more control game.
I have a J2K Pro and looking to stay within the Honolulu family and try the J7K Pro. I have never tried an elongated paddle and want to see how they play and if I'm ready for one. Also gotta to see what the power difference is! Definitely Great review and keep up the excellent work!
I'd like the J7K Pro version because it's a little lighter for faster maneuverability, and I think I'd be okay with the small trade off in control for the extra power!
I haven’t had the opportunity to play with one of there paddles , I would love to receive one to try and hopefully play in my league and future tournaments. Thank you for the great reviews.
Thanks for reviewing them! Thinking the J7K Pro would be a good paddle for singles. I like the control of the J7K more, but the swing weight is a bit concerning.
Your review has the J7K at the top of my list for my next paddle. I prefer elongated with a longer handle and have been wanting to try a kevlar face. I struggle with stiff paddles with tons of pop so the J7K sounds like the perfect fit.
Thanks for the review! Id like J7K for the blusher feel and better control. I have a pro line energy at the moment and I feel like this would be a good paddle to transition to since my surface grit is wearing down.
Oh boy, I'd LOVE to win the J7K Pro! I've got a HPC J2 and truly love it! Now you've got me drooling over the J7K Pro!!! Wishing myself all kinds of luck!!!!!!
Both sound like really great options. I'm leaning more towards the J7KPRO as seems to lend itself better to dialing in the weight and play better. I appreciate a paddle that can generate the power while I apply the control portion of the game. Another great review!
Nice video, good info, keep up the good work, really find your opinions helpful, I’d pick the J2K since I’m still a newbie and still learning the control game.
