Honolulu Pickleball Company makes some of the best paddles out there! For the price and quality, it’s a crazy deal. J2 is my primary paddle and won silver in my first tournament with it! Have a J3 on the way now! 😂 Would like to see a review of the J1 next. Interested in how it would play for singles!
This is probably the paddle I feel most confident using. Plan on using it in my tournament this weekend. Such a ridiculously good paddle! Honolulu Pickleball Company is the paddle company to watch in 2024
Thanks for the review. I’m really interested in this paddle because it seems like our game styles are similar. Block, reset, control at the kitchen. I did hear that the handle on the J3 measures closer to 5.5 inches, still enough for 2 handed backhand? Would also like to hear your review of the new J2K. Does the Kevlar face add more control? I want to hold off talking about the differences with Kevlar for a beat. I have some mixed feelings with that surface and need to do some more testing to be able to speak broadly about it. As for space for a two-handed backhand on the J3, I personally think there’s plenty. You’ll probs have to put your index on the face, but that’s with almost all paddles that don’t have super long handles. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the kind words! I'm starting to playtest the blue Kevlar J2K this weekend--as long as it doesn't rain! 🤞 So, be on the lookout. Probably will have the video up mid-March if all goes well! And sooner if I can swing it!
You should definitely review the J2K when it comes out. So many brands are coming out with Kevlar paddles now and I definitely want to know which one is the very best before I get my own! :)
How much the same? Like exactly the same? This one looks like the Mach 2. Volair has a history of selling paddles that are identical to other brands. Like the Mach 1 and the Ronbus 1.16

Nice review. Have you tried the Volair Mach 2 Forza? Seems like it would be very comparable to the J3. I just got the Mach 2 Forza and have the same feelings you have about the J3.
Honolulu better send you the upcoming Kevlar J2K to review and giveaway. I think that would send a bunch more traffic to your channel and make it EXPLODE!!! Until then, I’ll take the J3!
