For 45 years, the Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos has been a cornerstone in youth development and inspiring young people to reach their full potential. Today, we proudly recognize one of our brightest stars, Isabella “Isa” Jimenez-Ramirez.
Isa was recently named the 2024 San Diego County Youth of the Year, a prestigious honor that highlights her exceptional leadership and significant contributions to the community. As an ambassador, she now represents over 33,000 Boys & Girls Club members across the San Diego region.
At 17, Isa is a senior at Mission Hills High School in San Marcos, set to graduate this June. Her journey with the Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos spans 12 years, during which she has demonstrated unwavering commitment and passion.
In the past year alone, Isa has dedicated over 500 hours to community service. She actively participates in the Leaders in Training program, where she continually sets a positive example for her peers and younger members.
In addition to her impressive list of accomplishments, Isa was also one of the top nine finalists for the 2024 California Youth of the Year, a testament to her remarkable achievements and character.
We are incredibly proud of Isa and her contributions, and we look forward to seeing her continue to inspire and lead. Congratulations, Isa, on all your hard work and dedication!
