This video is several weeks old to the upload date, so I have since forgotten the train number. I want to say 288 was the number.
NS SD60E number 6920 sports a special paint scheme "Honoring Our Veterans" leads an auto rack train with NS ES44AC number 8099 "Southern Railway" heritage unit helping out in trailing position. This was the first time I seen two of the specially painted NS units on same train. 6920 sports a Leslie RS-5TRF horn in need of some attention. The 37 bell is squealing harmonically which decimates the chord of the horn. The debris bonnets on these horns can cause that harmonic squeal. Having worked on a few with and without the debris bonnets, the difference is night day almost.
Anyways, here were are at Andy Cooper Road and Sunbright, Tennessee to catch the train.
Enjoy!
