i remember the first time i heard this song i had just come from school and was changing clothes as i watched tv.....that was 15 years back. Nostalgia everytime i hear the intro.
These were the good old days. "The Reason" was by far the most memorable album by this Los Angeles-based rock band. It was an album that really defined the rock genre in the 2000's.
When I was a teenager I had their CD. I’m SO glad I clicked on this song as I forgot how much I had this on repeat like over 15 yrs ago. I need to see them live.
That’s easy. The Internet. Any video you want to see is yours for the asking. MTV was special to our generation because it introduced us to music videos in the first place. We would sit through hours of music videos just hoping that that one magic video that we were waiting for would come on. Now all you need is RU-vid
If you haven't got a chance to see them live yet, I highly recommend it. They are amazing live! It's sad but obviously they don't pack venues like they once used to so I got a chance to see them play to like 20 people a few years back and they were so genuine even after the set they stayed and just talked to everybody and I thought that was amazing of them to do that. They talked to people for at least 2 hours. I'll never forget that.
I agree, I saw them on the Tried & True tour with Kris Roe (The Ataris), Alien Ant Farm and Lit. This was my first time seeing them and was excited to see them but was disappointed at one point Doug Robb stopped to mock the venue like it wasn't good enough even though the people that came were the ones who paid to see all the artists. But overall, I was happy to see my favorite songwriter (Kris Roe) and Alien Ant Farm again. Alien Ant Farm killed it as always.
Its so heartbreaking to even read that such an amazing band is doing so poor with turnouts. Thats just so sad 😭 I love these guys and never got a chance to watch them live.
A memory just collided my mind today: this was the last song I listened to while I was wearing my high school uniform. Last day I wore it, I was listening to and singing along to this song. Oh, man, this band/album are legendary.
These guys would have been fun to see back in the day. I grew up in the early 2000’s and all my fav bands were popular back then, but I never went to concerts back then because I didn’t make a lot of money at my jobs and didn’t have anyone to go with. I wish I could go back in time and re-do the 2000’s.
This album is surely one of the most underrated in history. It is a masterpiece with lyrics that is among the best ever written. Unaffected is probably the best text on the album with disappear close behind. The melodies are very catchy.
Im glad that you noticed that thats what their doing too..... Please share everywhere and look up all the old good rock bands we had all new 2021 album about saving ourselves and freeing our minds of control more people need to know they care and they need to know we care and love them as well
"Disappear" There's a pain that sleeps inside It sleeps with just one eye And awakens the moment that you leave Though I try to look away The pain it still remains Only leaving when you're next to me Do you know, that everytime you're near Everybody else seems far away So can you come and make them disappear Make them disappear and we can stay So I stand and look around Distracted by the sounds Of everyone and everything I see And I search through every face Without a single trace, of the person The person that I need Do you know, that everytime you're near Everybody else seems far away So can you come and make them disappear Make them disappear and we can stay Can you make them disappear? Make them disappear There's a pain that sleeps inside Sleeps with just one eye And awakens, the moment that you leave And I search through every face Without a single trace, of the person The person that I need Do you know, that everytime you're near Everybody else seems far away So can you come and make them disappear Make them disappear and we can stay
The industry is trying to kill rock and install pop and hip-hop in its place. So many kids grow up in America listening to rap and hate country and blues and rock 'n roll music by adulthood.
It was like I stepped in a time machine this brought me back to all my fun times in South Carolina !!! If your reading this comment “make them disappear”!!!!!!!
OMG YAASSS! FINALLY!! This got unavailable for where I live and its finally back. One could argue that I could have listened to the audio elsewhere, but it's the intro audio in the beginning of this video which keeps me hooked onto this version.
I really miss those times when I start hearing this song so excited to download this video & internet those days is very difficult its only 2g, this song reminds me of my childhood memories
