Hood Joplin is a multigenre producer based out of Treaty 6 Territory (Edmonton). She is known for her energetic deejay sets that activates dancefloors by bridging her love of fast paced dance music and hip hop cohesively. The ethos of her art is “community, connection, expression.” She is a Red Bull Music Academy alumini, was a top ten finalist in Serato Sample Challenge, and made her Bass Coast debut this year via Subtle Radio.
HJ has three upcoming full-length projects releasing in 2024 alongside a monthly “Stay Ready Radio” on Half Moon BK- stay tuned.
